The only message I could found was in a turkish radio-forum from a fan called "mosquito":

http://www.forum.futuregeneration.net/viewtopic.php?t=424&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15

Quote:

Nick Pfyffe gruptan ayr?lm?s¸. Yerine Alex die bi adam gelmis¸. Çok daha leziz mükemmel çal?yor. Çald?klar? s¸ark?lara gelince cannot heat le bas¸lad?lar deeper underground la bitirdiler. bunun yan?s?ra alright, cosmic girl, travelling without moving,mr.moon, butterfly, high times, love foolosophy, little l hat?rlad?klar?m. Güzel bi aks¸amd?

Can someone please translate this?

Well, there are the names Nick (P)Fyffe Wink, and also Alex.
And there is a kind of setlist. Obviously they played:

Canned Heat
Alright
Cosmic Girl
Travelling without moving
Mr. Moon
Butterfly
High Times
Little L
Love Foolosophy
Deeper Underground

Please, who can help... ??? Rolling Eyes

Now, finally a nice guy translated the turkish message from a turkish fan for me.

It says:

"Nick Fyffe has left the group, he was replaced by ALEX, which played good. They started with Canned Heat and ended with Deeper Underground, and inbetween they played Alright , Cosmic Girl , Travelling without moving , Mr. Moon , Butterfly , High Times , Love Foolosophy and Little L , that's all I remember. That's what the fly is telling you."

So, it seems that the rumours are true: The new bassist is called Alex... but WHICH Alex??? bigeye

A little correction, but an interesting one:

It was a great night!"

jajaja, yeah this is getting TOO exciting.

I have read on jtalk from some turkish fans that actually Jay introduced the new bassplayer but, at least the guys that posted there, didnt hear too clear. Maybe if someone -Cosmicmouse Wink - could post here Alex Katunich & Hewetson pics so Mosquito or another fan that happened to be at Turkey concert could just recognize him.

(I hope I dont sound desperate....but Im very curious 2eye-popping )

Thanks for listening to my silly idea 2knockout

The "Alex Katunich news" is still a rumour - nothing confirmed yet.

I can´t beleave that any fan from Turkey doesn´t know the surname of the new bassist. What´s up? if you went to the concert, check your photos and tell us with a 100% of fiability if the guy is the one from Incubus or the other one.
By the way: Why did Nick leave Jamiroquai? Money? Problems with mr. Kay? Question
