Jay Kay pops in for a pie and pint

The car-mad pop star, whose hits include Cosmic Girl and Virtual Insanity, was in Usk to test drive a car and was spotted eating lunch at the town’s Nag’s Head pub.
A bar insider said: “He had a pint of lager, the soup of the day, which was leek and Welsh cheddar, and the rabbit pie.
“He was very nice and really pleasant. I heard he was here to take a car out for a spin.”
One onlooker said: “I only popped in for a pint and there he was supping in the corner.”
Jay Kay, real name,Jason Kay, is television presenter Denise van Outen’s ex-boyfriend.
He has four Ferraris, including an Enzo, and previously owned an F40 and F50.
He currently holds the record for the fastest lap time on the Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car feature on BBC2’s Top Gear.
Jay Kay set a time of 1 min 45.81 secs, beating the previous record held for two series by X Factor judge and record label boss Simon Cowell.
