JK's Concorde thoughts & Fashion Rocks clip!!
Hello everyone, :bm_r:
Just read a interesting bit of news on Funkin.com: On October 24th, the British Airways Concorde makes it's last flight from London to New York before retiring it's service. The Reuters agency http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=peopleNews&storyID=3673688 published a number of quotes from celebrities about the plane. Jay Kay said, "It's a fantastic thing to watch the sun set and then watch it rise and then set again. You fly so high I mean I've actually seen the curve -- the black line between night and day on earth -- because you're traversing it so much more quickly. So it's a beautiful thing." For those interested in the history of this aircraft, here's a detailed look back it at this link:

I have never ridden on the Concorde..or any aircraft ever, but from what I read, looks like a fab ride ! RIP Concorde! Also, the Funkin Site has a VCD clip of JK's stripped down performance of "Love Foolosophy" (No Band) at the recent "Fashion Rocks" event, just clicky over to www.funkin.com and check it out, won't be up for a long time, so download it when you can! Thanks for listening, have a nice weekend fans, and take care! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
The Concorde: Supersonic....Supersonic....Supersonic...
By the whites, of his eyes, there's a Supersonic vibe...
You can tell by the tears, he's a warrior that cries....
HE'S SUPERSONIC!!!! |

Thanks JamiroFan2000. Well i flew from mexico to spain last august but i spent almost the whole journey asleep, so i could't say 'bout the black line. Furthermore, I think there is a big difference between a "normal aircraft" and the Concorde. _________________ Spacey |

Yep, it was a nice plain. By the way, I do hate flying. I get very nervous when the plain starts moving. It´s not the same as travelling by car. And I hate that feeleing of "you cannot do anything" if something´s going bad. |

I dont know, but I love flying - its just the speed and the views you get to see that do it for me, like when I was flying into London and we flew over the city centre, the views were amazing. |

Fashion Rocks
Just saw the fashion rocks event and Jamiroquai (in my eyes) was the performer that really got the crowd going and dancing. All of a sudden the camera was focusing on the people as well and how they were enjoying themselves instead of just the performer and the model. I thought that it was a fantastic performace by JK. even tho i would've loved to see the whole band there too,i might have been hard with a new bassist. Oh and of course they might not have been able to set up and pack up in the given time too.
All in all a great performance by Jay!,
David Bowie was good too!
