Stillness In Time Quality?
Does anybody else's "Stillness In Time" have a very quite, low original volume set to it? I just bought an original copy of ROTSC UK edition, and it is awfully quiet. The version that I downloaded from itunes is very crisp. Anybody else notice this?

what would be really interesting to find out is if the video from the HT singles dvd has a remastered version of the track (not included on the audio disc) or just the original. It sounds louder and cleaner than my TROSC disc, but maybe its just wishful thinking. does anyone know for sure?

I think all videos on the High Times DVD are audio remastered, i.e. same versions as on the CD.

Hey Michael, check your e-mail. Very Happy

BTW, could you send me the Stereo version, and if you have it, the extended version with the instrumental at the end? That would be great! Thanks!

Sure, I just have to rip it off the DVD. Just give me a couple of days, OK? Smile

BTW, if it's true about Stillness, the same should apply to all tracks that are on DVD but not on the CD: Light Years, King for a Day, etc.

Depends on how much compressor they have used, if you compared the sound volume on radio today compared to 1995 things have really changed, so it may be that itunes have put on a compressor on everything.

My C-course in sound mixing starts this fall Wink.

Well, I extracted the audio from that track on DVD, and it doesn't sound any better than the CD version IMO.
