Yeah, I voted for alright, too... but I don't need to say that I love them all, do I? ;)

TWM...The Opening of Jamiroquai to America...
rasta hat Hello everyone, :jay4:

Ahh, "Travelling Without Moving", the album that hooked most of America to their vibes, only for a year or two ONLY later on to be condemned by MTV US as a ONE HIT WONDER, then a few months later, a TWO HIT WONDER. I look at "Travelling Without Moving" two ways: Way 1# It was the breakthrough album for most of the world that finally got their attention and made the new fans delve into Jam's previous albuma and find some music inspiration. Way 2# It was in one way the death of Jamiroquai interest in the United States, TWM garnered a Grammy and several MTV Music awards, but interest decreased once the POP era began in 98 and on, and the scene eclipsed Jamiroquai whole after "Synkronized" and "AFO" never was received here in the States (Except to die-hard like myself who had been following Jamiroquai since the beginnings!) due to the Terrorist Attacks on DC and New York City, everybody started developing a much needed patriotism , and the eerie thing was the American Release date was 9/11/01. So, to sum up, a great album whose flaws were summed up by it's great achievements. I didn't mean to sound harsh, just my opinion. Thanks for listening and keep up the great work CosmicMouse & Bear! OHHH, by the way, this is the 1600 post for JamiroTalk.net! YIPPEEEE!! Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Very Happy Had to vote for Funktion. I dearly love Spend a lifetime, was crazy about Cosmic girl when it came out, but to me, Jamiroquai will always be about quality funk and groove. Funktion in my opinion is one of their best tunes.
Don't get me wrong, I love disco tunes and I love twm (and all the others), but since we have to choose...

If you think, Travelling Without Moving is quite different from The Return Of The Space Cowboy: it has more danceable hits like Cosmic Girl, Alright, You Are My Love... Still, is one of the best Jam albums.

VIRTUAL INSANITY: A song everybody likes. Interesting lyrics. (And a great video too!!).
COSMIC GIRL: Well...who can resists to this song?
USE THE FORCE: A nice tune to show that Jamiroquai can make good songs with the great Sola in percussion.
EVERYDAY: Ah... This could be one of the most romantic songs ever!. One of my favourites here.
ALRIGHT: The same thing of Cosmic Girl.
HIGH TIMES: Very nice. A song that gets better and better after minutes go by.
DRIFTING ALONG: This is THE experimental Jamiroquai song. Is not bad, and it fits perfectly between HT and...
DIDJERAMA & DIDJITAL VIBRATIONS: This songs are perfect if you listen to them with the whole album... they turn the album into a nice mood.
TRAVELLING WITHOUT MOVING: I like this song but it sounds so much better live!
YOU ARE MY LOVE: A simple love song.
SPEND A LIFETIME: Like Everyday, this track is very romantic and a great decision to put it at the end of the album.

Bonus Tracks:
DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOURE COMING FROM: I like it. That is all.
FUNKTION: Very funky but it should have been shorter (8 minutes is too much).
SLIPIN N SLIDIN: One of the best instrumental tracks.
BULLET: Why this song was not in the album????!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think is the BEST instrumental track and for me, why not, one of the best of all Jami songs.

It's so hard to choose. I like a lot TWM and the major part of the songs are pretty. Anyway, I think it's You're my love, a nice tune, but lamentably, never released as a single or another version. =( I cry.

Peace of mind, Nicolas Cool .

For me it is/was 'Everyday'.

I just voted for my favourite album and went on about how I love the Disco sound more, but not with this album as I've gone for a ballad.

I love the way this song melts into 'Alright' on the album, one of my favourite Jamiroquai moments.
