Different Versions of High Times?
Hey, could someone please show me the US version of 'High Times, that uses the Joe Wheeler sample throughout? I would like to compare the difference between that version and the UK version. Thanks!

I just realised I've hardly ever listened to a studio version of this song without the samples in it...

Seems like none of the versions on the singles have them and neither does the video version (by the way, the radio edit of this song has to be one of the worst edited Jamiroquai single edits ever - that transition bit around 1:26 is just horrible!)

Is the UK version (the one without the bonus tracks) the only TWM album you can hear High Times without the samples?

Anyway, to hear it WITH the samples follow this link and press play. Should be first on the list.

Thanks so much! That's the first time I have ever heard that version. If you want the other studio version, lemme know.

Yeah, the samples are just the bits in the background that go "last night" every so often and then there's the "last night changed it aaaaall" bit at about 2:48.

Watch the video on YouTube for the version without samples. It's effectively the radio edit, but you'll get the idea. The full length version without samples can be found on the High Times UK single (CD1).
