A Few Questions Regarding Synkronized and AFO
I was reading through the sticky for "All You Need to Know" (nice work Dyego), and I was wondering a couple of things about Synkronized and AFO...

First... this quote was interesting:
In November 1999 Jay was interviewed and asked what the next single release would be. He said that they were planning to record and release the title track from 'Synkronized' (which is not on the album) for a UK release around April 2000.
In 2000, when Jay was asked if he was already working in a new album, he said that the band was busy preparing a new single (Synkronized) and it was "going to be crazy".

Did they ever play the song Synkronized live? I've heard Cannabliss, which sounds like it contains elements that were later reworked into the song Radio... but Synkronized is new to me.

Also, why would the band wait to release the title track for an album after it's initial release? The quote also says it was the planned fifth single... is that including Black Capricorn Days?

Secondly... here's another quote involving Synkronized:
They were going to record a song for a James Bond film twice. The second time, Garbage signed to record it. However, the official site said that the demo song for the film was gonna be re-recorded as a B-side song of a future single off from 'Synkronized'. No single from 'Synkronized' had a B-side (except for 'Canned Heat', but it was the first).
Is it possible this was released? Wolf In Sheep's Clothing maybe?

Regarding AFO... here's the other quote:
Jay Kay wanted 13 tracks to be included on the album (between 10 and 12 had to be discard), but Sony only wanted 10.
A song called 'Funk Odyssey' was played in some concerts during it's 'A Funk Odyssey World Tour 2001-2002'.

Were those three extra tracks supposed to be 'Do It Like We Used To Do', 'Cannabliss', and 'A Funk Odyssey'? I really hope the song AFO gets released in some form eventually. I really like its sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6lOwGL9IQs

Two more questions about AFO... (first is just an observation)

Main Vein always struck me as a weird song... I mean it sounds funky, but it also sounds incomplete. What I mean, is that 3/4 of the song sounds like an extended intro with the chorus tacked onto the end. The Knee Deep remix sounds like a fully fleshed out version in comparison.

Yesterday I found an instrumental version of Twenty Zero One Surprised
I never knew that existed! When/where was that released? Also, since an extended version of the song exists, is it possible an extended instrumental exists?

My second question is about this quote:
A song for the movie 'Snatch' was also in the plans. Toby Smith said that the song had lots of live drums and a strong bassline, and that featured vocals from Beverley Knight.

(Snatch was released in 2000.) Is Main Vein the song Toby was referring to?

Thank you for taking the time to read that. Cool

I like your questions man, you lifted a good point there, too bad there's a lot of things that remain undisclosed to the fans, and others just got misinterpreted.

I don't know to answer to many of your questions... Since the SNKZD and AFO eras were a very nebulous time for Jamiroquai.

Yeah, I guess most fans can only speculate about these things...
