Yukimi Nagano/ Little Dragon
Hey Jamiropeople
Haven't been focusing on jmq much these days coz lounge has engulfed and consumed me. so on ma journey through lounge i found the scandinavians have the most deliciously on point lounge in the whole world: plej, hird, stateless, swell session and of course i discovered yukimi nagano because she does vocals for most of the lounge music producers and her voice is wonderfully distinct and varies a lot. from her old school jazzy voice on whenever there is you (by koop) to her husky lounge voice in keep you kimi (by hird and yukimi) to her ermmmm im not quite sure how to describe her voice on the songs she has with her band little dragon but you know its hotttttttttttttt 
So anywho i just wanted to spread the word about this amazingly breathtaking woman. please check out her band little dragon. they have just released their second album, machine dreams, and its quite hot, wonderful follow up from their self titled album, but if you've experienced yukimi through koop or st germain or hird, be prepred for a more alternative sound with little dragon. it certainly took me more than one listen to enjoy little dragon but everytime i listen now, i fall more and more in love each day. im not sure if i should put links and stuff coz i really dont have any but anyone whose interested in yukimi and her band please contact me or if you know of her collaborating with other people i dont know, i always have ma ears and eyes open for anything on her coz i know erything she does is right on the money

so happy u made a topic about her! love her voice, incredible, yeah heard her with hird, , and with koop, im stuck on one song featuring her with sleep walker , i haven't heard of little dragon?! I'll check it thanks!  |

i love it!!!!!!
i don´t know little dragon but i have the song " the music in her eyes"...
love her voice too

sandriche you should get nordic 2. its also super awesome  amaaaaaaaaazingly alive, the muuuuuusic in her eyes. sparkling in the night. she can make it right  you should hear how different her voice is on songs with koop. i didnt even know it was her till i saw the full title of the song. what an amazing woman!!!! |

you know wat yes  It was initially hard to get into with the first listen to Twice and After The Rain, songs for some reason didn't hook me,it wasn't until the 2nd time around?! new music works like that for me a lot of times, then I'm hooked for good.
LOVE the live version of recommendation ( i keep playing it )soo good  , thnx for the recommendation |
