Saint Nicolas is on his way Tomorrow is a big day!!! Saint Nicolas (By the way, he is the real Santa Claus!) will come and bring presents to all the children who have been good the whole year. So, put out your shoes in front of your door, maybe they'll be filled tomorrow morning and not with feet! Plates will work too! To celebrate this, I sing you a traditional Luxembourgish Saint Nicolas song: "Léiwe Kleeschen, gudde Kleeschen bréng ons Saachen allerhand, fir ze kucken, fir ze schmaachen, äus deem schéinen Himmelsland. Bei der Dir do stinn ons Telleren, beieneen an enger Rei. 't läit och Hee do fir däin Iesel, dofir bréng ons Spillgezei, 't läit och Hee do fir däin Iesel, dofir bréng ons Spillgezei!" (Yes, I'm not very fond of catholicism, but "Kleeschen" rocks!") _________________

his real name is " st. nikolaus" !!!! at least in austria...it goes back to an old legend of bishop nikolaus from myra... i love that tradition ..really missing it here in australia this year _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better "

Nope, but I didn't get a beating stick by Housécker (Knecht Ruprecht in German, Père fouettard in French, Zwarte Piet in Dutch) either.
