The songs in the new album
This post if for you to tell if they should put a record with ten songs again (so, we're used to!). I want more songs!!! I don't know, 14, 15!! They had like 3 years to incorporate new rhythms and melodies.
And another thing. have you noticed that the name of the songs are not so different? Take a look at this:
-EveryDAY; Black Capricorn DAY; King For A DAY.
-Corner OF The Earth; Picture OF my Life; Music OF the Mind.
-Corner Of The EARTH; PLANET Home; Emergency on PLANET EARTH.
-BLACK Capricorn Day; BLACK Crow; and perhaps BLACK Devil Wife.
-Mr MOON; Everybody's Going To The MOON; Shoot The MOON.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid. What do you think about all this? |

What a psychotic fan!
I have ask me about some similar words on jami songs. I remember someday a friend and me was talking about all the versions of the song When you gonna learn? and it was the most psycho thing we have did. About your questions, I think some words are repeated like "earth", because jamiroquai like so much the nature and those things.
Espera espera. ¿Tú no hablas español? No tengo idea porque escribí eso en íngles, pero creo que eres muy fijado en esas pequeñeces. No les tomes atención, sólo disfruta y cree que cada canción es distinta. Groove!

Yeah...I guess
Hello, :bm_b:
Uhh..hehe, yeah I have noticed that Diego. Lots of "moons", "black" & "days" in most of the Jamiroquai song titles, and "earth", almost forgot there. I'm also hoping for a 6th album with over 10 songs, but 12-14 new songs would be a bonus . But just as long that it is the OLD SOUND, and not just a new-old sound variation...don't mean to sound picky. Thanks for listening and I would like to thank Spanish Kosmik Girl for our previous chats, your such a nice lady to chat with ! Peace and take care!
Sincerely,

Well, thanks for replying. And I keep thinking that the name of the tracks should be different. But hey, who cares anyway while we wait for that incredible album. Because I think is going to be the best Jamiroquai album. 15 songs should be enough.
Keep funkin guys!!!
Y aguante el español. |

15 songs, eh? that would be more than enough for me.
It dawned on me....if you got Late Night Tales, you might have noticed the song MUSIC OF THE EARTH.....that sounds like the most Jamiroquai title I've ever heard. I was not at all surprised to see a title like that.
Old sound, I'm ready. In recent recordings I've heard a prevailing NEW sound, which is more like a mutation of the old sound. It's an acid-jazz-like feel, but with horns absent they've discovered an interesting horn-substitute in the guitar and keyboard. Jay promised us big brass and big strings, but I'm anticipating some exploration of this new idea.
I know this sounds weird, but let me try to explain: listen to SHOOT THE MOON, CANNABLISS, and FUNK ODYSSEY (the last section, with the drum stops) and you'll hear the sound that I'm talking about. It's something I don't think we've heard out of Jamiroquai before....a very bright, jazzy guitar (as opposed to the typical disco wa-wa role).
I don't think I'm really explaining at all what I'm thinking. What I'm saying is, it certainly sounds different than Synkronized and AFO, and it sounds like an older style, but not necessarily a direct reversion to EOPE and ROTSC.
I think we're going to get some surprises on album six, and I can't wait. |

It should be around 11 or 12 tracks. You know that Jay loves long songs, and we´ll have about 3 or 4 of more than 5 minutes long.
And yeah, Freddie is absolutely right.
I prefer the old sound, so I wouldn´t choose a new sound instead of the old stuff. New sound maybe will be more comercial. |

I know that, that's why I was confused. Autumn 2004 was the first updated projection since I heard Spring 2004. That made no sense to me, but I hadn't heard anything new (I get Jamline, but I never bother to read it )
Take care. |
