Paul Turner was INCREDIBLE, my sincere congratulations!
Tunes was perfect and another congratulations for the brass section!
I've never heard You give me something live before it was very nice!
For people which were there, do you share my feelings? |
I totally agree with the points above. It seems the role of Paul is getting bigger and bigger. He makes 'standard'-versions of Virtual Insanity and Little L incredible. The band was very tight indeed and they were enjoying themselves: laughing and making fun on stage.
Highlights: saxophone-solo in Canned Heat, Black Capricorn Day with brass (the first time since 1999 I guess) and You Give Me Something (how often do they perform that?).
Disappointing: no Just Another Story, no Hooked Up.
I think it was a one hour and 25 minutes set. At the end Jay said indeed: "New album's coming out in November: Rock Dust Light Star!" So let's wait and see...

I totally agree with LCool too
Hooked up and Just Another Story would be fantastic but I'm so happy with this live that it does'nt matter!
I thought they'll play Rock Dust Like Star...It will be for the next tour! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

Party people,
after months/years of not posting here I am again.
Thank you Jamiroquai for the excellent gig we had last night, this was a big revival to my "fan" mania. I think I needed this after 4 years having the last gig.
so happy having met people from the Jamily (Peggy, Nicki, Gaby, Lorraine, André the King, David, Natalie) & all the other people I might have seen or met but don't know your name, you are all just great
here my video:

waiting now for the album and the next concert.
Cheers

To D: no they didn't do RDLS. Jay said (I think he meant that) the name of the new album will be Rock Dust Light Star. If so, we already know the title track. |

I've been understing that too!
Jay said clearly that the new album will be released on November and said "Rock Dust Like Star"
We have to notice that there were no Dynamite tracks on this tour.
Time Won't Wait and Dynamite are cool anyway! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

Hmmm, if this is the title track to the new album (and one of the best tracks) I'm not too positive about the it but let's see, hopefully my predictions are false. |

I can imagine that Zsoma, but remember the first single of Dynamite (not the titletrack, but still the first single) which isn't the best song of the album. So there's hope...
As Jay said in Paleo after playing RDLS: "In November it'll all make sense." |

RDLS as an album title... Sucks.... Doesn't fit into Jamiroquai's style, hope it all makes sense later as he said... I really do. _________________ At the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper... |

thanks everyone for review, WYGL sounds interesting
RDLS really doesn't fit to JMQ style and what's more for title of new upcoming album, we'll see... if it all make sens in November, I think Jay knows what he mean looking forward _________________

The bunch of the people who stayed at Peggy's in front of the Incognito bar on the square where was held the Jamiroquai gig!
Vax and Cristina!
Gaby having a Mojito, although you can't see the beverage.
Jamiroquai as we like them most: On stage!!!
Here what I thought about the gig!
Peggy during the gig!
Me with Lizzy from France. Finally I met her!!!
Some of us with Rob Harris, after the gig. _________________
