THU 24 FESTIVAL WARM-UP GIG JAMIROQUAI Thu 24th Jun 2010!!!!
I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Jamiroquai are playing an exclusive warm-up gig, two days prior to their appearance at Hard Rock Calling, on Thursday 24th June. It's going to be at Debut London. Jay Kay and the band are very excited to perform live in a more intimate venue and we hope you are too.
We anticipate tickets going quickly so make sure you don't miss out: log on to the official Jamiroquai website at 12pm GMT, Tuesday the 15th, when the tickets go on sale. Ticket price is only £10. "

Here's a review of the venue:

It appears that it doesn't have a cosy atmosphere such as the Jazz Café, but if you're in town I guess it's worth going
For visitors to London, before the gig you can always go to eat something at the various restaurants by the river, take a stroll up to Tower Bridge, or experience either the London Dungeon or the Britain at War museum, both near the London Bridge underground station. _________________ Jamiroquai - it's stitched into the clothes that I wear... |

Do you know if this gig will be a FULL gig or just 5/6 tracks ?
it's the word "warm-up" that makes me sceptical
Because I planned to go to London, so if it's a true Gig I will be there. |

it says 7 pm to 1 am...pretty promising that they will do a few more songs...
and i also think " warm up" only means they want to play in front of a smaller crowd before they do the big crowd
if u are lucky and get a ticket GO!! _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

Because 7pm to 1 am I think it's not only Jamiroquai, but maybe you're right after all
so if I'm lucky I'll go there, and hope some Jamirotalk members also will do ^^ |

I dont think they are going to play full 2h set as they are preparing the setlist for summer festival where they will be playing only 40-50 minutes long sets as usually. It is improbable to do the full set but there is a little hope they will do more songs as they want to know which songs they finally use a which not.
So dont expect much and you can only be surprised.
I am so sorry that I am unable to be there so for those of you that are coming - good luck with the ticket order & then enjoy the show! |

as i am dissapointed that the news was not worldwide news but mainly europe news, i will say that i wish i was going. there is no doubt in my mind that they will make a 2 hour+ gig out of this date. jay has said and what other artist hasnt said that they love more intimate venues. will he preview a song or two? i would think he would. it would be his way of finding out what to play at the gig on Saturday. So we will all have to wait and see. will anyone be planning to video record this gig to be youtube ready for us jamily? |

Hi there!
Just a question about GMT... In UK, it's GMT+1, am I wrong?
So the tickets will go on sale at 1pm UK time, and 2pm european time?
So much stress about this...
