Jamiroquai's legends
Hi

Talking with a friend, we had some discussions about Jamiroquai's legends, like the 500 exemplaires of MAW EOPE promo, some suppossed bootlegs and a Original Synkronized Album.

About this last, I haven't heard nothing about and my friend, Matej, tell me it was the original disc to be released. But all of we know the story about the left of Stu before Synkronized release. It was really a sad notice, but how I say, Jamiroquai was recorded an early synkronized and it wasn't edited completely and so it's part of a legend. The band have to recorded a new album, with new songs and the other things was forgotten.
Probably somebody got a copy of this album, more hard to find than AFO UK Test Pressing (Isn't a hard thing). Really, Original synkronized is a "HARDCORD COLLECTORS ITEM".

Someone know any about that? Do you know another legend like the misteriously left of Wallis Buchanan or some unreleased item? Please post the secrets you know and do feel us dazed.

Gonna Dance! Cool

I don´t know nothing about the original sincronized stuff, but I don´t think that this "Original" album exists. Probablily Jay has some of the original stuff locked somewhere in his mansion...
More legends:
What abut JK´s mansion ghost? I rode somewhere that it is a green old woman, seen by Denisse and Jay himself. In an enterview he said that he woke up one morning, and the ghost was pushing him over the bed... You know anything more about the ghost?
And a last one: A couple of guys told me that Jay is on the bussiness Shocked
You know something about that?

Jay is on the business? I'm not sure what you mean.

Apparently most of album #4 was recorded when Stu left the band, and Jay started over from scratch. There is a short clip available for download on Kazaa (I believe it is called something like "Jay Scatting in the studio") where we see Jay singing along with a little brass lick from a song that was never released. We can only guess what happened to all the music that they had recorded, maybe they'll release it someday when the whole world is craving Jamiroquai the way we do now.

Anyway, we have five seconds of the original music at least Wink

Take care.

Drug business. He doesn´t get so much money from music to pay the cars, the mansion, the rest of the musicians...
Well, it makes sense if you think about it. Jamiroquai is very famous in england and maybe in the States, but not in the rest of the world. (they know it´s a group called jamiroquai, but anything more, and sometimes even less than that (jamiro-what?)
He sold dope when he was homesless, anyway.

Probably doesn't exist....
buffaloman_R Hello, :bm_r:

Interesting, I do agree there might be a few test pressings of "Synkronized", "TWOM" and other albums that do exist, but still under lock and key in JK's studio for future Jamiroquai boxset possibilities. In regards to Freddie's comments, I think what you are referring to is two taped segments from a 98' MTV VMA nominee special where JK hosted. The special was taped at the Chillington studios, and other places at the manor. In between some of the videos nominees, there were two parts where JK was in the studio scatting to unknown Jamiroquai musical pieces, and yeah they are hard to find on P2P, but interesting to hear some of the sounds that didn't make it on the "Syn" album. You can download the clips with the music in question at the Jamline Group on Yahoo Groups, here's a link to the downloads:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Jamline/files/MultimediaTreats/
*Files: Jamiroquai Sample 1#, 2# (audio)
Original Syn Track 1 & 2 (video)*

There you go, I hope that answers some questions, I really would like to see some of those sounds end up as songs, but who knows, they could show up on the 6th album Wink! Thanks for listening and take care! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Well, what Nicolas (and I) had in mind was legends about collector items, vinyls and cds.

For example, how many EOPE MAW remixes were released, or anything about Synkronized album. I heard that some guy from Sony was selling it some time ago.

Or Eurockeenes. We know that it exist, but where can we get it.

Stuff like that. Please, reveal us the mysteries, tell us something new

Eurockeenes???? Is that a Jamiroquai release? (all the hardcore fans look at me, amazed at my stupidity). Rolling Eyes

Whenever I think I've learned as much as I can, I hear about something completely new and foreign.

Can somebody tell me what Eurockeenes is? Shocked

Eurockeenes is the gig, bootleg, where Jay soon after the beginning of concert lost his voice.

Than, Wallis played by himself for the rest of the concert.

Well, this bootleg is so rare because people who has it don't want to share it( Evil or Very Mad ). They trade it for something equal. If there would be too many people who would have it, it would lost charm.

i don´t agree with that "keep the stuff for yourself" mentality..
S-H-A-R-E!!!! a comunity bases it´s structure on the inter-dependence on each other, that´s one of the main benefits on the internet, the posibility to share. I don´t think is nice to obtain stuff and hide them away...
jay doen´t do it with his cars, why should we do it with the music ?

what i belive we should do is to trade on a fair basics with each other, develop contacts world wide! it is worth it, think about it.

comunity feed the hunger of peoples search based on a common objective. greedy ass people can take their boots and shove them up the....
this is no legend, there are hard to find stuff around the net. One thing carries to the next thing, and on and on you go. Thanx to nice people that have been able to trade I have my collection.
Share the vibe, keep it alive and don´t hide the boots away, you might need some time to get something you want and find yourself loose on contacts to trade.

ahh, i forgot...
I remember that I obtained some files from the synkronized album... around 2 to 3 months before it was out, and i don´t recall any difference with the album.. no new songs (except from gettin funky) or any special cuts... but I remember that jamiroquai.com (now offline) posted a supposed alternative front cover for the synkronized album, it had a cross similar to the ones on too young to die single with the buffalo man in front of it... but that´s it.

What i also recall from time ago is a file floating around the net, the file is part of an interview with jay on much music (a canadian tv chanell), on one part of the interview jay appears singing a song live that i haven´t been able to identify, anybody saw that file? it around 1995 when it was broadcast.

you´re right spacecowboy_vibe.
It would be fantastic if everyone shared all their files and extrange jamiro-stuff. I wonder why nobody hasn´t create a web-site full of rare mp3 and videos...
I know it´s ilegal, but nobody is gonna notice it.

Well Snorry, about you say, of a site with rare things I'm not completely agree. Really, I have thought it sometimes and I just finished thinkin' : "If a site put to download many mp3 and rare things, how many of those things would be really rares?" I think no many songs or bootlegs need to be easy to get, that is the motivation of the jam-collector. I'm sorry, but I can't be agree with all, I prefer sincerely have to seek specially for a rare boot or a beautiful single. That's better.

But too, on the last days has appeared a new idea : keep the boots to yourself. I don't like it, but would you give your boots easily? No, sincerely no, because many people are just interested in receive and they never give something, but the topic just was to learn about some legends on the jamiroquai history, and Eurockennes 95 is part of this. And like Eurockennes, I know many recordings exists and I feel so happy when I can find them. The rule is : "IF YOU WANT IT, LOOK FOR IT"

Enjoy, Nicolás! Cool

I just think that it´s very selfish not to share things like mp3s and more rare stuff.
Everybody should have to option to enjoy all the jamiro-stuff
Jamiroquai is about sharing.
But you´re right, it´s also great the feeling of having found something very difficoult to find that you´ve been looking for ages! Very Happy

I'm not sure how I feel about this whole thing. On the one hand, I do feel very proud of myself when I've found a live track I've never heard before. On the other hand, I wish it weren't so hard to find the stuff, and if everyone were more willing to share then it wouldn't be such a pain to find new tracks. Plus, the hardcore traders have already found the stuff that I've worked so hard to get, so in the end only the serious traders trade with each other, and no one else can get in on the process.

Case in point: Last year I wanted to trade with smellbob, but she has EVERYTHING. I had nothing to bring to the deal, and we never ended up trading anything. How are we supposed to get into trading with people like Little C, and others, who have so much when we have comparatively little?

I do get a feeling of accomplishment when I've found something hard to find, but why not let that be over a missing sock, or a long-lost book? I'd rather people make these bootlegs more easy to share. I understand that not everyone can upload this stuff, but it seems ridiculous to hog it.

That's just my opinion though.

Thank you.

(300 POSTS BY THE WAY) Very Happy

well..

Why don`t you write down your want-list and your bootleg list, I am shure this is a great way to find traders that can exchange on your same frequence.. it worked for JN3 hehehe
