-How would Jamiroquai be in 10-15 years?
-Why the band don't the band play some cover versions of some songs now(in the concert)?
-In the future, will the band add some band members? (Like brass sections, DJ, or a Didgeridoo) |

Nice news Meike
My two cents:
- Do you / How often do you listen to previous Jamiroquai albums?
(This question has come in my mind when I realized that it's ages I don't listen to the albums - I just eat bootlegs) _________________ I once had a 10 years of Travelling Without Moving celebrations banner here... |

My question:
If this new album sounds very different and organic, are they not afraid to loose fans OR are they trying to get new fans ? Or is it just evolution ? |
I like this question Peggy. A very brave thing to do in my opinion, although I guess seeing as they are very well established anyway, experimentation is the least of their worries. Nevertheless, I'd like to see their answer on this one _________________ Jamiroquai - it's stitched into the clothes that I wear... |

what inspired RDLS and the other new tracks?
as of now, do u guys feel like you are given more freedom and are much happier with the new record label than with sony?
would you guys rather work for a record label or work independently (promoting/selling your music the way u want to)?
what are your views on today's music and the industry?
can we expect a music video from the new album anytime soon?
who chose the background images for the summer gigs? _________________ I think it’s time to find a new religion |

Oh, Meike, one last question I hope it's not too late:
Could it be possible that the band give to some"hardcore" fans like some of us here a special pass to take pictures during gigs?,
because I was REALLY frustrated that a security man tried to take my camera off my hand ! I had to calmly talk with him for at least 3 minutes to avoid it during Nimes gig.
Thanks !

Thanks everyone! Great questions, keep them coming, whenever one pops up in your mind!
Actually I wanted to continue those mini-interviews with one question at a time... but I did send in about 5 I think, for a first round. So, don't be sad, if your question didn't make it in the first round... I am planning to do more mini-interviews soon, so it is good to have some more questions in petto.
Derrick is the first - waiting for his answers now!

1) Would you (Jay) rather be racing cars or making music?
2) What is the theme of this new album? Peace? Politics? Experience?
3)Do you want a big tour in the U.S. or focus on a World tour?
4)Are the band members all friends? Hang out? |

Maybe I'm a bit late for the 1st round but I hope to get into the 2nd:
- the band is tighter than ever before, you've been picking up some of the old arrangements (like the Little L - Alright bridge from the unreleased Symphonized) and re-discovered some of the old tunes like HU, LY, WYGL or JAS. Is this the influence of the new album?
- Jay has been enjoying himself quite obviously on stage this summer as if the old tunes and the brass section had rejuveniled him, is he feeling 25 again:)?
- the first track WKR has nothing to do with the communicated "live, organic sound" of the new album, what was the intention with it? Is this just a one-off track? It pretty much reminds people to the Dynamite era (which you felt too sterile according to the press release)
And I'm also interested in B-side tracks and covers on gigs!
