What a great night. An amazing atmosphere, the crowd was really into it
"Negative" aspect: Jay's voice sounded really strange, I think that's the reason he doesn't say allot towards to the audience. I think he was saving his voice inbetween the songs.
Nevertheles he sang with much energy and joy, as always! He got the crowd going!
Positive aspects:
-All the new parts they added to the songs! TWM was my favourite: it turned into a totally different song. I was really surprised, since i haven't seen any movies on youtube yet about this tour.
It was sometimes hard to recognise the song or the new parts, maybe because I was at the front (where the sound is very loud, and you can't always hear the music completely synchronised.)
-Paul Turner was for me "the hero of the night". His bass solo's in TWM or Little L were so tight and funky, I really loved it.
-The horn section off course: they added a trumpet solo to Alright, wich sounded very cool.
-The audience: never seen so many people dance and sing together in one hall (although some people who were at the front row, barely moved: very strange ).
All together a great night, who went by too fast unfortunately. I will have to look up all the new parts in the songs, because it was too much to remember .
I really hope they will make a DVD out of this tour, that would be great. |

I'm a bit tired (hmm exhausted is the right word) but it was worth it!
Sound as usual is crap in Forest National, people who go their often know that, but it's the only 'big enough' venue in Brussels so i understand.
Setlist was great, it was nice to hear some new arrangements and hear some new songs of course! (I would have been happy with Fast Persuader but than again, I'm already happy so for me 'all good in the hood')
I didn't go front row, i'm getting too old for beeing squeezed I guess. So i was at the middle side, one floor up (you can compare it to the Indigo sides) with a beautiful view and Jay Fiers joined me as he came a bit late. Which was nice of him! We had all the space to dance!
The crowd was really in a 'party people' mood, and Belgian newspapers are writing great reviews of the gig. This article is in Dutch:

My boyfried was one of the photographers, I've posted some beautiful pictures on my FB page:
https://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?fbid=10150207868231477&id=692706476&aid=347038
Feel free to visit the page but please DO NOT tag any of the bandmembers! Thank you in advance.
I met some new fans as well, which is always nice, Annelies, Saskia and a very nice Brazilian girl...but oh dear...forgot her name! (Jay; can you help here?) i saw Angèle and friends before the gig but didn't see them anymore after...
Conclusion and hereby i quote Russ: all good in the wood! _________________ www.thisispeggy.com

Indeed, the accoustic in Vorst was terrible. Some nice parts were very difficult to hear sometimes. It's too bad, cause it doesn't have anything to do with the band. Maybe this is the reason why Jay's voice sounded so strange to me? |

The sound was just lame... The worst I've ever heard during a Jamiroquai gig... _________________ Max. |

I got very ill during the gig and haven't recovered yet so will give a brief review for now. The sound was terrible and some parts of the set really put me to sleep (TWM for example *yawn*) BUT they played Hurtin' and no more FJLIS as encore so happy happy!
I got front row left side just as I wanted and enjoyed the view very much. Had a great time meeting up with old and new friends
I made some pics that I will upload later and also got the set list. _________________ *Meow* |

At the end of RDLS I see a JesusChrist in a cross...
Are there any relationship between RDLS and this? "Am I the only one to see light?", Somebody explain me this...I'm a little bit disappointed...

RDLS is a criticism on fundamentalistic religion. He critizises the fact that so many people have killed and died in the name of religion.
And he says all the praying and fighting for a god isn't going to help anyone when a big rock dust light star hits the earth ("salvation is coming from on high"=> he doesn't mean God, but a meteore or something like that).
I saw the cross as well, I don't think it is meant as an insult towards christians, he's just critizing the naive believing. |

Bluntly said, Jay is not a fan of a religion.. the link with the song is that religion doesnt matter if a big rock comes out from the space and erases everything we believe in..
Anway using Jesus on the screen was unnecessary, i am dissapointed to..He could use some corupt archibishop, pope, vatican, whatever.. |
