Hello,
Darn it, beat me to it again, anyway, if you want to merge this topic with my thread about the Nomi Demos over in 'Search & Find', it's cool . By the way, I was wondering what your stance, Sister Meike, was on open posting of audio/video rips of these demos that I can NOW confirm WERE uploaded on YouTube by Nick Van Gelder. Here's my thread link for possible merger:

Thanks in advance! Cheers!
Sincerely,

Hello again,
I was having a nice deep conversation with some fellow Jamirophiles on Facebook and the interesting thoughts popped up in my head and I thought I would share them concerning these demos :
- Since Nick Van Gelder OWNS these demos, does he have the right to post them on YouTube without consent of JK and other bandmembers? If so, IF Jamiroquai, at the time these rehearsal demos were made in 1993, WERE under a Sony Label contract, could Sony come out and send a 'cease & desist' letter to Nick and have him take these demos offline? And in the other possible situation, IF Jamiroquai WASN'T under the 10 album deal with Sony in 1993 and STILL UNDER the first indie label contract with Acid Jazz Records, is it STILL Nick perogative to do whatever he wants with these demos?
In my expert fan opinion, having listened to these demos intently, I think Jamiroquai was STILL under their indie label contract with Acid Jazz Records and it's alright for Nick to share these with us WHEREEVER he feels like it, be it anonymously on Youtube or elsewhere . I await reading all of your thoughts on this situation, Cheers !
Sincerely,

It's not a big deal, he had those cassetes there, and thought it would be a nice idea to share some good old -very old- music...
nick van gelder commented on one of his videos on fb: "Rock Dust Light Shite!"...
that's not cool... |

Hello again,
Just had a quick chat with Nick and he added some more info pertaining the date of these rehearsal demos in 1993 that are worth noting :
- The rehearsals were done at the Nomi Studios in Shepard's Bush.
- The date of them was in January of 1993 according to the writing on the cassette tape.
- And got confirmation that Jamiroquai WAS still under their indie contract with Acid Jazz Records in early 1993 when these rehearsals were going on.
Nick also noted that there are some more rehearsal material, but are a mess since they are composed of all the bandmembers learning their parts for the early songs. I asked him if he would upload the remaining stuff, even if it sounds cryptic and out of place, but he assured me he will continue to upload 'the best' of the rehearsal material he has left. So keep an eye out for more new old material soon! Cheers!
Sincerely,
