I really, REALLY like this kind of music. Those drums and the guitar "fills" reminds me of the great and underrated "Radio". |
I agree!!! I really like it too!!
Everything started with Radio......i like the way jmqi is going to but i thing it will split fans in two.....becouse i m reading a lot of "closed mind" and negative comments. |
agree, Radio started all of this _________________ Only a fool can walk away from me this time

Have you seen it? http://www.vimeo.com/15404930
I wonder if it's the full version, or a remix, or just this guy's version of the tune :O |

The video description says it all:
"Jamiroquai - I've been hurtin (bass cover)
New song - Funk" Just my version for this new song. Album: Rock light dust star - 2010"
I reckon its COOL! _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

Are the funky elements also present in the real song? Or is this something this guy did himself? Is it me, or does this version sounds 10 times better then the leaked one I heard on youtube? |

This sounds EFFING awesome!! Wow. I mean, it's not Jamiroquai but it sounds better than the original to me. Hmm...he notes at the bottom in the comments section that this is a song to Stuart Zender I figured it was about a woman...but I suppose it could also be about Stu leaving Jamiroquai and now he's really feeling the repercussions and missin' his old buddy. I mean look at this verse:
He got ahead for money
He had a head for sin
Gonna build that spaceship
We´re gonna fly it in (?)
I´ve been hurting

I am sure Jay Kay is NOT singing " all I need is you" to Stuart Zender.... _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

............. Well, the song still sounds great! So I assume the version that was leaked on that radio station was unfinished? Kinda like the few versions of White Knuckle Ride that were being released with different sounds and stuff added or taken out. Pretty sure the radio version didn't have the horns section like this one does _________________ If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. 'Cause if I like it, I do it. |

This guy made a new version of Hurtin and put new elements of brass in the song, more funky. _________________

I think the song is to himself! He lost himself! To stuff he's dried out for. And lost people in the meantime.
Definitely sounds like 'Kabas' adding his own stuff over 'Hurtin'. I'll bet the song we've hurt leaked on that radio is close to the final version.
But I like the extra rhythm in it, almost more like Jamiroquai's 'older' stuff! |
