Sorry to sound like this..my post was was supposed to be on the I've been hurting thread...but anyways...the album title says it all..rock |
Funny think I found today, Emergency on Planet Earth is categorized under the "Rock" genre on I-tunes!
I wonder why they don't have a like/dislike button for posts like yours!

But i'd assume you're inteligent enough to know that EOPE is not rock, right? Because that sounded too naive from you. _________________ At the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper... |

sorry, but not all be so close-minded
i mean, i though only rock people was sometimes too much close-minded, then i see all here depicting rock...i mean wtf?
i know that jamiroquai is not a rock band, but dont because this album-as we know yet-is gonna have some rock vibe take it as a way to depict rock
rock has been since the begining a way to be rebel against the system, even if now some rock bands aren't so rebel or even some rebels change and now are more classic...dont funk with the rock¡¡¡
btw, i love any music that comes to me
i hardly can say that i dont like to listen all music genres, so to me no one genre mean to be depicted as if is''baddest ever''
people, you're getting too much conservative, ironic in a place from a band that, from the beginning ,is more rebel than many.
if sound change or anything about music, we all know since AFO
so, dont get it as a big deal
OPEN YOUR MINDS PEOPLE¡¡¡¡
dont be conservative, please¡¡¡ _________________ Only a fool can walk away from me this time

Sorry Jamirowolf for the criticism. Keep talking.
But it would be kinder to just hit a 'dislike' button rather than spew.
Iranterres -->Yes, early Jamiroquai is not Rock. More Jazz.
I think they kind of invented new genres, actually!
Agree with AZ -Real music fans open to any genre. Otherwise you limit yourself! And within rock, many different styles.
I mean really, do you think of a lot of Beatles songs as Rock? |

Thanks for the permission to criticize...I've always asked for approval...
Ah yeah..and about the Beatles...don't get me started...there isn't a "dislike button" big enough for that
And please...don't take it personal..I don't insult you by saying you're "too positive" do I?...my comments are just that,opinions...if I had the chance to be with the creator of this music I'm posting against I'd say it out to his face as well...pluuhease! |

Sorry guys, I don't like that tune!
Not because it is rock. Hey, I like good rock!
From the 4 tunes we got to hear, this one is by far the weakest! _________________

just listened again since the first time (weeks ago)
I really, REALLY like this kind of music. Those drums and the guitar "fills" reminds me of the great and underrated "Radio". |

Jamirowolf: You are tiring.
What's the point with you ? What's interesting in your replies ?
Do you are 12 years old in your head or something ? with you ridiculous " 1 -0 " or "OUCH..."
I seriously hope you will grow up and ask yourself next time you reply here, or else I hope you will banned, because you bring nothing but bad vibes and silly comments. _________________ Smile ~ |

Who's keeping tabs...You?
I can't win. I can't make you like the music.
The joke I had was that I-tunes labels EOPE as 'Rock'. It definitely isn't Rock!
But What is Rock? What is Funk? Heck they all sorta come from the Blues, but we don't talk about this!
Anyways, I'll let you be. In misery of our conversations.
But let's see if you buy the album. That'll be the test.
Have a Pina Colada and ease the pain! |

Hey guys listen to this.
Is this the "complete version of the track" obviously with the guy making his own bassline. Do I hear horns??

Oh man...I'm the last one to comment but...R.I.P Jamiroquai...this is by far THE most outrageously disgusting song by this new band...it even makes Blue Skies sound like the best from The Crusaders....
I'm sooooooooooooo terribly disappointed..so much I don't want to hear any new tracks...they keep on surprising me on how terrible music they can do
Well I knew one day they would no longer exist...we all know Jamiroquai is actually JayKayroquai since day 1...so the end was coming by either Jason getting killed by drugs, a car crash or making this ugly music...sad they chose the latter |
Talk about a dramatic over-reaction
It's not exactly my cup of tea, but come on, it's much better than Blue Skies. |

I think he added those to it - they sound like synth horns. If that one's real, I much prefer the stripped down one on the Dutch radio show. That one sounds pretty awkward. |

Nope, it isn't. In my opinion at least. _________________
