She's a Fast Persuader
Obvious from the song title we knew the song would be sexually forward. I just didn’t realize it would go there! What makes me a little crazy is how well done the whole thing is. FJIS, BDC don’t deserve to be in the same conversation as this song. I like it better than Radio and Radio is wonderful to me. Are any of you stunned by the explicitness of the lyrics? This track is no holds barred without using vulgar profanities. |

To be honest I am not sure if I understand the lyrics fully from hearing the snippet... could you post them here? |

I'm not so sure that we exactly know what the lyrics mean at this point considering we have 30 seconds out of a full song. |

A rough transcription:
Standing on the wall – she’ll be standing into you
I love it when you get on down – and work me babe
On your knees – once again: she’s a fast persuader – outer space

I kinda do wish he sang about something other than women and flings all the time I've also realized that off the top of my head, She's a Fast Persuader is the only song off this album that has that unique "Jamiroquai sound" that they can call their own.
To me, the rest sound like songs from the 70's that Jay is doing a cover of Take this for instance: Lifeline sounds like It Ain't Over Til It's Over by Lenny Kravitz (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rqte5w257C4). That's not me being cynical or dissing the album, I freakin' LOVE the song snippets!! It's just my observation, that's all _________________ If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. 'Cause if I like it, I do it. |

yea he's singing about the same former love and different sexual encounters since AFO
don't get me wrong i think songs like half the man, everyday, spend a lifetime, butterfly and tallulah are beautiful songs _________________ I think it’s time to find a new religion |

Oh definitely I can't get enough of each and every one of those songs you posted While most of my friends tend to skip those ones, those are the songs I like to listen to while riding in the car alone at night...just chillout songs. I guess I have nothing to complain about, lol....I just really love Jamiroquai's non-relationships tunes such as Space Cowboy, Canned Heat, High Times....Then again I guess they do have quite a few songs about drugs, lol. So I really can't be picky _________________ If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. 'Cause if I like it, I do it. |

@zeioIIDX
I completely agree, and that's due to the harmony, which has always been their best merit. But don't you think Two Completely Different Things kinda points to their trademark sound as well? Think SDSJ and Falling. |
