Has someone the lyrics, please? I want to (try to) translate it into Spanish for the Jamirolive.com.
Translating songs is my main exercise for train English. _________________

"Fast sex by night in a foreign country with a very efficient prostitute female"
She's a fast persuader is, indeed, a way shorter title, for an awesome piece of music.
Maybe the jam in the end could have been a bit longer and more "freestyle" _________________ Smile ~ |

That was a nice little version.
They sound somehow weak without the brass section. |

I've had the album since release day and whilst there are some good tunes on there, this is the standout track. It's as good as anything they've ever done in my opinion. Funky, fast, and groovy. I just love the synths, super smooth. The break in the middle for the sax and the synths is just goosebumps for me. Total quality.
Then the breakdown at the end, percussive bass. Facking Sweet! |

Thank you very much Julia for sharing this!
It's very interesting to see this music with "this 1994 studio vibes"!
Indeed Brass are Very Important in this song but this version is very nice!
By the way, Matt Johnson is an underrated keyboard player!
One of best in the world for sure.
He always brings these incredible vibes since his introduction to the band in 2002 (8 years ago already!!)
I wish, one day, we'll have in one track a dream duet with Matt and Toby! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

Lol, I like your interpretation, but I really doubt this song has anything to do with a prostitute, haha! A girl can be a "fast persuader" without being a hooker!
The lyrics are not even that dirty...

So I've been mostly avoiding these song topics until I'm familiar with the songs themselves... Just listened to this track following along with the lyrics in the album booklet and there are a couple of tiny mistakes (there's a whole chorus printed that doesn't exist for example). I think this is actually the way it goes:
She's a Fast Persuader
Now she's stinging in the rain 'cos she's got so much to give
(Girl's got crazy rhythm)
And I still don't know her name but I really wish I did
(Girl's got crazy rhythm)
There's a magic in her moves and I bet you never knew
(Girl's got crazy rhythm)
Come on stand here for a while, she'll be sending it to you
(Girl's got crazy rhythm)
I love it when you...
Get on down and work me babe
On your knees, once again
She's a fast persuader, outta space
Escalator to elation any place
Girl's got crazy rhythm
She's coming from a stranger place
All wrapped up in music
With a star gaze on her face
She got it...
Straight ahead, you and me
Something I can hold forever
Love it when she's tearing up the breaks
She's a dream, a fantasy
I don't need too much persuading
Giving up the hearts she wants to take
Now and then I wonder why
Cupid's shot me with his arrow
See my wings are melting in the sun
Got my head in a spin
There's no doubt that she's begun to...
Get on down and work me babe
On your knees, oh, once again
She's a fast persuader, outta space
Escalator to elation any place
Girl's got crazy rhythm
She's coming from a stranger place
She's coming from a stranger place, yeh
All wrapped up in music
(All wrapped up in music)
With a star gaze on her face
She got it...
(sax solo)
I love it when you...
Get on down, work me baby
On your knees, oh, once again
She's a fast persuader, yeh, outta space
Escalator to elation any place
That girl's got crazy rhythm for me
(Girl's got crazy rhythm)
(She's coming from a stranger place)
That girl's got crazy rhythm for me
(All wrapped up in music)
(Get on down)
(With a star gaze on her face)
You know she's got it
Get on down, come on work me baby
And she never ever gonna let it go
Get on down, come on work me baby
She got it
She got it
You, you got me wrapped up in your music yeh
(Get on down, come on work me baby)
You got me wrapped up in your music yeh hey
Get on down, come on work me baby
Yeh, I'm travelling at the speed of light tonight baby
Yeh, I'm travelling at the speed of sound (getting down)
Yeh, I'm travelling at the speed of light tonight baby
Yeh, I'm travelling at the speed of sound (getting down) _________________
