Goodbye To My Dancer
Some people dont like it, dont find it special..
I find it very special, its got that isley brothers old funk vibe+ reggae.
Plus it has a catchy corus... it didnt get me at first, but now its my favourite.
Same thing happend to me with butterfly from "synkronized" album |

The strongest track of the album, IMHO. |

I Love this song! The passage after the second chorus at 2:11 to 2:35 is magical! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

I was really looking forward to this one. In a way for me, it's too sad. But I do like the reggae groove, and really can't be too depressing with reggae!
The chorus is a little too descending for me, keeps going down.
And I think, he's actually holding back a bit. Except for the part from 2:58-3:20 -sounds like a shout back.
"And there's no one to hold me" great line.
"Get outta here cuz you've been paid" (?)
I think I like it better now as it plays through.

I'm wondering why they didn't played it live yet. at the begining of the 2010 tour they had the option of playing this song or RDLS, so, obviously they have practiced this song and the band know how to play it. |
