yesterday in german tv text: /thanks to viva
"Jay Kay had a big cough... he wanted to comfort himself... and bought three (3  ) cars for over 400.000 u.k. pounds "
if that´s true.....  he´s really crazy.....

this is what I found in Funkin.com
The London Evening Standard newspaper on Monday (19 Jan) reported that Jay went out this past weekend and spent £365,000 in an afternoon to "cheer himself up". Amongst other things, he purchased Rolls-Royce and Bentley GT motor cars, and a electronic scooter - in less than three hours. He said "I had a cold and had to get out of the studio, so I went out shopping to cheer myself up. It's something to do - isn't it?". The Bentley GT coupé is the world's fastest four seater coupé and can reach 190mph, and will sit comfortably at his home along with his collection which includes Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin and Lamborghini, Rolls Royce and Bentley. Hmmm.....well I guess when you have deep pockets lined with green like JK, you can do whatever you please. I think it was a pubicity stunt or something...buying that many cars in one day seems a bit...excessive. But, you know, I could be wrong, but you have to admit it, his taste in cars is unrivaled  ! Peace!
