Jay Kay - FaceCulture Interview
Very nice and complete (video) interviews from FaceCulture to watch here:
http://www.new-frontiers.nl/2010/1110/1011/13.html
At least the interviewer is not asking about cars etc...
Jay having difficulties now to sing TYTD
Blue skies being autobiographical song and only a single in UK and Netherlands, rest of Europe is White Knuckle Ride. Now I understand why Blue skies is often on the UK Radios and not here...
The video of Blue skies has no special meaning...
Never gonna be another is about a friend of his that died.
They have 10 extra songs they recorded! maybe on the new album _________________ All of my vision were untrue Till I had a vision of YOU |

yes Christina - true so maybe it's not to lucrative too release physical formats anymore & what's the point with the trash that's in the charts.
Javis - i didn't think it would be that deep either _________________

I wonder if Jay is into the conspiracy theory that the moon landing was a hoax... "You can't even get to the moon, and back yet... again".
The 'again' came a bit late, didn't it? _________________ Old school forever! |

very very nice interview!! Thanks a lot Cristina!!
I think the interview was just after the lunch...
I really like the interview when he started speaking about nature, galaxy... I ask me, he's very interested and concerned by the environment, but, what exactly he know about it really? ( it is general reflexion.. ) I am biologist and when I see him playing with cactus in this video:
http://uk.askmen.com/video/entertainment/1021-jamiroquai-behind-the-scenes-video.html
it is very very comical!!!! _________________ I have always 8 years old when he's less than two meters from me / 1992: birth of a genius |

Or Maybe during the High Times Greatest Hits along with Runaway and Radio (Paul Turner was not on Dynamite's tracks unless the track has been re-recorded?)
I'm surprised to see that he does not really like Blue Skies (so early, during the released of the album or the single! But He's honest!) and he admits that White Knuckle Ride doesn't fit with the rest of the tracks, even he said "it's a great piece". I thought he's looking for the full control of his music, that's why he left Sony.
It doesn't matter, I love the new album! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

Funny - my review didn't include "White Knuckle Ride".
I like it, but yeah, I just want to ignore it now! |
