Late Night Tales - Remastered Edition
er didn't know where to put this update
from Funkin.com - http://funkin.com/news/4048 - the Jamiroquai edition of the LateNightTales collection has been recently remastered & is available on itunes to download. Im not sure what other formats it will be available on if any?
http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/late-night-tales-jamiroquai/id403246669
I have also found a video advertising the re-release on their youtube & facebook sites - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sSZxVgV1yM
If you haven't already got this album or any from the series it is a wonderful pick of Jay's favourites & a must have as it highlights all his influences. _________________

I've bought it seven years ago!
It's still an amazing compilation!
I was not so surprised when the band released Blue Skies: it's a kind of California Dreamin' rest by José Feliciano! And this track belongs to this Late Night Tale! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

This compilation is very very important in my musical education. It opened dozens of doors to 'new' old sounds for me. It is definetely one of the best albums I've got. |

Jay Kay showed that he had taste and he was erudit: all tracks are gems and open many doors (for me it was Commodores, Lionel Richie was amazing at this time before he left, Dexter Wandel and Ramsey Lewis, a great underrated piano player)
Notice that this album features Enter to The Dragon, the song which introduced every gig during the Dynamite Tour!
This album, and especially the JK's notes are fundamental to understand the direction of Jamiroquai.
Ps: I got the previous compilation too, released in 1995 in Japan:
Jay's Selection (Sony Music): From funk (Earth Wind and Fire) to hip hop (Nas)without forgetting jazz (Hancock) and soul-rock (Sly)
Dyego, if you have not this jewel which opened many doors to me (I'm a little bit older ) I highly recommend it (Buy it If you can or Download it ) You'll be happy! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |
