I know you was there, Rene told us.
Btw, think review is more accurate.
Jay, bouncing on the stage!!!
They say it was sold out too.

Oh don't bother about nu.nl, as always the review is an interpretation / adaptation (or should i say rip-off) from another review http://www.livexs.nl/2011/frontpage/20766/jamiroquai-in-ahoy-nostalgische-toestanden-op-de-automatische-piloot/
I don't think the 'journalist' from Nu has actually been to the gig.
But a positive review
http://muziek.nieuws.nl/637703/jamiroquai_tovert_ahoy_om_tot_discotheek
And my short review:
It was my first Jamiroquai concert and from front row it was awesome! Jay was in good mood, making a lot of eyecontact and interactions with the front rows. He had indeed a nice grin on his face. The sound was excellent from where I was standing. I needed my earplugs for the support (sorry, i think it was really bad), but when Jamiroquai started it sounded just fine. Just as LLCoolJR said: it was tight and sounded warm.
Oh my, I need more! Guess I'll have to try and squeeze in on the rescheduled Oberhausen.......
I'll upload some pics later, need to work now |

awesome gig.
sound was amazing, even front row. not too loud, not messy, almost perfect. some little things went wrong. jay didn't seem happy with that sometimes aswell.
band in top form, enjoying themselves. jay very active, dancing and his voice was good. he sang all the parts, even when the backgroundsingers were singing. he reached the high notes. i've never got the feeling that he's been ill!
highlight: the complete gig! the band sounded really tight, the sound was very warm.
highlights:
- paul turner!
- brass!!
- new version canned heat!!!
- space cowboy!!!!

Couldnt agree with you more Jeroen! You wrote my thoughts.
I loved Paradiso, but this gig was actually better. From the way they peformed the songs to the Jay being more interactive with us (indeed a big grin on his face He was having a good time himself you could see that!) Awesome that they were able to pull that off after the cancellation from the day before.
Great view and sound from standing at the second row and had a great time dancing with David, Lorraine and Nathalie
Peggy and Rene went a little further down, but it was nice meeting up with you as well! Thank you all!
It was a PERFECT night out, unbelievably good! |

the only bad sounds was...the sqeecking.
As always jay kept saying to up or down something.
But sqeecking microphones or other equipment, that was long ago!!
And some big bang, near sola or the brass guys.
Jay saying that that "did not sound good"
For a second i thought, end of gig?? (not again)
But the sqeecking kept going and so did the gig. _________________ May you always feel the wind on your face and the waves on your toes |

I forgot some highlights:
- the brass parts in YGMS
- the new arrangements in Main Vein (second part is funky!)
- great new version of TWM
about the review of NU.nl: jamiroquai on automatic pilot with so many new arrangements? don't think so! Are we the only ones who can hear that they changed CH, TWM and Main Vein completely? And that they added new arrangements everywhere? I don't understand those journalists. Everyone i spoke afterwards (and checking Hyves and Twitter) was positive! |

Yeah, that review just doesn't make any sense. It's completely not the way he described it...
Very annoying to say the least |
