I was thinking the same thing!!
I guess this means they must have had a massive great time and that they are still at cloud 9 somewhere |

Hello, nice to meet you all, this is my first post and isn't so much a review but a few thoughts and feelings about the gig.
It was my first ever Jamiroquai gig last night and in my humble opinion it was bloody brilliant.
Jay's voice was stunning. He sung songs like Space Cowboy and Alright like he did 12/13 years ago. You really can't appreciate the tone and pitch of his voice until you hear it live. The acoustic intro to Love Foolosophy being a real highlight. You'll see videos of the gig on YouTube and believe you me, they don't do him justice.
The band played brilliantly and the mash ups and transitions into each song was fantastic. Main Vein with the extra instrumentals sounded absolutely wonderful as well as the Scam intro into All Good In the Hood (a surprise as I thought it was going into Hey Floyd).
It's all a blur at the moment, I hope my memory comes back.
The crowd was loving it, Jay got some pants thrown at him and he came and grabbed everyones hand in the front row, which I was lucky enough to be part of.
Overall, fantastic night. All the new songs were great but Space Cowboy just has that touch of class that makes it so special for me.
I'll write more when I can remember! |

Well thank you very much for the warm welcome.
I'm trying to remember the setlist (I'll do it by Era):
EOPE: None (Sadly)
TROTSC: Space Cowboy and Scam Intro
TWM: Cosmic Girl, Alright and Travelling Without Moving
S: Canned Heat and Deeper Underground
AFO: Main Vein, You Give Me Something, Love Foolosophy and Little L
D: None
RDLS: Rock Dust Light Star, Smoke and Mirrors, Lifeline, All Good In the Hood and White Knuckle Ride
While it didn't bother me; given the form his voice was in last night I would have loved to have seen him take on Virtual Insanity, alas it wasn't to be...

It was very good indeed, however, for me, the stand out track from RDLS was All Good in the Hood.
It was brilliant and the bass was electric...
... on the other hand the bass played on Deeper Underground almost killed me!
About a minute into TWM the band stopped playing as a girl near the front had fainted (I think). Jay Kay told the band to stop playing before asking her if she was alright. As she was being passed over the barrier he had a little laugh with her claiming it was a cheeky trick just to get to the front. |

Maybe this isn't the right topic to ask this, but does someone know (for sure) if there is going to be a DVD of this tour (like Veorna and Montreux)? |
