Comedy Rocks performance for Jamiroquai - HEAT Article
On the 4th of February, Jamiroquai will be performing on British channel ITV1 at 9pm on Comedy Rocks. This is where stand-up comedians come together with music onstage... Never seen it but it does look good from the adverts.
Anyway, I was flicking through my girlfriend's horrible magazine which goes by the name of HEAT, and I came across some 'media' bile by Jamirotalk's favourtie journalist - yes, the one and only.... wait for it.... Boyd Hilton... This is a truly amazing piece of writing!
''Warning: Jamiroquai are the ''house band'' for tonight's mix of comedy and music, hosted by the lovely and funny Mr Jason Manford. This means we'll have to look at the smug face of ''Jay Kay'' throughout the show and listen to the annoying music he peddles. Remember when he graced The X Factor with his presence and had the audacity to slag off the judges before the show, then said on the actual programme, ''I have to say, I've had reservations about appearing on the show''.
We sincerely hope Jay has no reservations about appearing on another primetime ITV1 show in front of millions of people, some of whom presumably will be drunk enough to think it's a good idea to buy his latest album. On the plus side, you get to see Manford and fellow funny people, Al Murray, Andi Osho and Russell Kane, Rumer is on and she's got a great voice and everything''
I'm appalled that this man can even call himself a journalist... He was meant to be giving a review of the show not using it as a way of advertising hate to Jay and Jamiroquai. And he's still going on about X Factor? Give it a break already!!! I'm not going to get too angry because, after all we do get to see the band and Rumer who I really love!!! |

It's quite ironic how Boyd actually gave the program 5 out 5 after all the hatred.
For those of you who don't know who Boyd is, he is a TV critic for Heat magazine.
He also wrote this about Jamiroquai a few months ago.

I usually don't like it when Jay starts fighting, but this man seriously deserves a punch in the face. If he would meet Jay in a nightclub, it wouldn't be his best night Who is this loser anyway? |

lifeline http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmWSpUuVdzo
All good in the hood was also performed at the end but the picture was cut off by end titles
all in all though a really good show with great interaction with Jay & Jamiroquai as the house band. They played parts of classics as fills when guest performers were cued on. Mainly Deeper Underground though for the ad breaks _________________

it was an amazing perfomance! both songs were great!
my words about comedy rocks:
- there are a nice new keyboards in all good in the hood
- jay´s voice is still incredible
- it is always cool to see lifeline without playback
- i cant wait to the live versions of rdls tour _________________
