Old photos of Horsenden Manor
Being a keen student of English architecture, I was looking up some English heritage sites and came across some very old photos of Horsenden Manor as it must have been 80-100 years ago. i thought you might be interested.

I hope this works. If you have problems, just go to viewfinder.english-heritage.org.uk and use search.

Really cool!!! Must be great to live in a house with such a history. I think I read in an interview that there seems to be a ghost in this house. Denise must have seen a "white Lady" or something - I must check it again. |

Cool Link
Hello, :bm_b:
WOW...cool, thanks for sharing that link Gemma ! Well, I'm no expert on the provinces of England, but I think Buckinghamshire is like a county, but I could be wrong. I remember seeing a few other pictures of the manor of JK lounging on a hammock with Elle M. (the supermodel) a few years ago, they were paparazzi pictures I think. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

Yes, Bucks, Buckinghamshire is the region, he lives in a town called Princes Risborough, and the mansion is Horsenden Manor.
Hope this will help you.
Perhaps and English person would explain you better than me about the neighborhood.
I just live in Argentina _________________ Hey, I am trying again to put a message here |

Hello miss moon
Don´t you guess how I knew it?
Ja ja ja of course I live very far from Europe.
But as I love Jamiroquai and also I like so much Mr Jay Kay, I am always reading articles and looking for information.
Also I had a trip last June , I went to England to visit my friend Ms P (Jan)
I knew her chatting two years ago from the official site of Jamiroquai.
And I am a 35 years old woman , I am happy married and we have got two children.
BUT I MUST RECKON, what I did once like a "silly girl", I sent a real letter to Sir Jay Kay to his home.
Of course he never replied me. But I did what I wanted.
I didn´t said nothing about love, ja ja ja, just I want to say him the admiration that I feel for him.
That´s was all.
By the way mrs moon my e-mail is maritastabile@yahoo.com
Oh I forgot to say you something, when I was in England I couldn´t be around his home because I went for only 7 days. My wish just was to look outside.
Sorry for my English _________________ Hey, I am trying again to put a message here |

Seeing as I only live 8 miles away from Horsenden Manor, and as I sit and type this at work, I'm only 1 mile away from Horsenden Manor, I think I am pretty well qualified to clear up your queries about Jay's home.
Whilst I have never been up to his house to have a nose around (I respect Jay's privacy), I do however obviously know quite a bit about the area the house is in.
Horsenden is a very small village situated just outside the town of Princes Risborough, which are both in the county of Buckinghamshire. Therefore, Horsenden Manor is named after the village it is located in.
The general area of the country is very 'green' with lots of typically English countryside, and the scenery and countryside where Horsenden Manor is situated is particulary stunning, hence why Jay chose to buy the place. I live in a village called Haddenham, which as I've mentioned is about 8 miles away from Horsenden, and for those of you who have watched the TV programme Midsomer Murders, all of the filming is done in the general area, with some scenes shot in my village, so this is the general look and feel of the villages and towns in the area, including Horsenden and Princes Risborough.
I have seen Jay in his cars a few times on my way to and from work over the past few years (not the Enzo yet though!), but I have never met him on foot yet, as I only ever seem to drive through the area. I followed Jay the other week in his Audi RS4/6(?), which had a wicked personalised registration number (without wishing to give it away), and I have also seen Derrick McKenzie coming out of the road leading up to Horsenden Manor once, as he pulled out in front of me and I followed him through Risborough for a bit on my route home.
It is really frustrating to know that the band are all gathered just a mile up the road recording the new album at the moment. If the wind is blowing the right way, I might be able to open the window and listen to some of their new tracks?!?!?
Anyway, if anyone wants to know more about the area of Horsenden and Risborough, just ask, but I wouldn't want to give away too much to threaten Jay's privacy, etc. (I'm not going to tell you how to get to his house, etc.)
Regards
