done!
yeahhhhhhhh, still a bit funkdrunk from yesterday... mad!
here's the setlist:
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/jamiroquai/2011/saku-suurhall-tallinn-estonia-3bd32864.html
(they didn't actually do corner of the earth though, the author of this list must've made a mistake)
a bit busy right now so no time for a vast analysis but shortly:
since this actually was the first jamirolive i've ever seen, well, i'm pretty sure no fan can possibly place j's first-timer elsewhere than one's all-time top5 list. especially when one's been dying to see it for like 15 years or so... 30 degrees outside, inside even hotter. first couple of songs i placed myself in the middle of the venue, seemed a bit far... luckily my friend with no shame dragged me to the front, that made the night. about the set, all the members were beautifully represented, the vibe was really great and i must say, jay's vocs are in my opinion the best ever. i myself must've gone mental during love foolosophy, alright and travelling.
all in all, crazy! the coming days in sunny june are gonna be even sunnier after this, i bet
cheers!

Yeah, this topic is a bit underrated by all this SMILE up and downs!
Great review, thanks for sharing your feelings!

Amazing concert, which was no surprise at all!
This was THE Jamiroquai live concert that took away my jamiroquai-live-virginity; finally!
To my knowledge and recollection, the setlist was the same as in Jamiroquai @ Ice Palace St. Petersburg, Russia (10/06/2011):
Rock Dust Light Star
Main Vein
Cosmic Girl
You Give Me Something
Little L
Canned Heat
Space Cowboy
Feels Just Like It Should
Love Foolosophy
Travelling Without Moving
Scam (break)
Alright
Deeper Underground
Encore:
White Knuckle Ride
My absolute favorite was the new live version of Feels Just Like It Should, which literally almost swept me off my feet. Otherwise the concert was everything I expected it to be, and much, much more. Damn, the band plays well together!!!
It was well worth to travel to Estonia from Finland, as the band has not visited Finland since their 2003 Pori Jazz concert, which I unfortunately didn't attend.
But next time I will try to be in first row, maybe with some other members of Jamily
P.S. In secret, I was kinda hoping that they would have released the new single (Smile) prior to the Estonian concert and performed it live to promote its release. Well, didn't happen, but one can always hope. |

haha.@ Hbomb and losing your Jamiroquai cherry... I'd love to hear smile live.
My first live show was in Spain at a festival. I love Jamiroquai fans because I went by myself, met some fun ones and had a ball! That was my first concert on my funky odyssey...
hehe
