Hey it's getting onto March now...just thinking someone should know something about the new album by now, surely.

Anything? Any partial clips?

I rave about Jamioquai of the old days, but I'm still eager to hear their new stuff!!

Hmmmm...
buffaloman_R Hello, :bm_r:

Well...yeah it's March already, but I never seem to notice the passage of time, weird Rolling Eyes . Anyhoo, I haven't heard anything album yet either, but I read on the Funkin Site today that according to several news sources, that JK is planning to duet with Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellweger. There's a also a rumour of JK recording a "big band" album (Like Robbie Williams did!) in the news item too. This is a eerie occurance, cause right before AFO was released months later back in 2001, JK did that guest appearance on the Jools Holland and friends album, then dueted with the masculine Anastacia, ohh the memories of here croaking voice. If I hear anything 6th album related, I'll post it straight here, you can count on that Wink. Thanks for listening and Peace S_ntinel, just have alot patience, the wait is be well worth it Wink!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

What song are they going to duet to?
"I'm Turning Japanese" by The Vapors? LOL

When I was just about to say the same thing of S_ntinel, I found an article that says something about Jay and a duet with Renee Zellweger, and a couple of hours later this article it´s been updated on the great funkin.com.
Exciting news, also the big band album!. Oh man, hope we can hear something new!!! I can´t wait!!

Although I have much faith in Jay's decisions, I have to say I'm not very pleased with either of these rumors. I like big band, but I'd like Jamiroquai to stick to what they do best.

If they released a new album every year I would be satisfied, but with 3 years between releases these days, I can't wait 'til 2007 to get back to what I've fallen in love with.

What? Renee Zellweger? I so hope that isn't true man.
Agreed that the Anastacia duet blowed too.
Man Jay should just kiss Sony goodbye and get himself a different label, cos his $$ woes are just making him and his band suck.
I guess though he's got all those pounds to pay back...shouldn't have bought all those fancy sports cars now.

Is it just me or did Zender, Katz, and Smith get out at the right time...ie before Jamiroquai turned into a pop $ making machine instead of a real band?

Forgive the negative vibes people...but if these latest rumours are anything to go by then I'm feeling nauseously low in my hopes for Jamiroquai's future sound.

First there was this Neptunes rumour, and now this Zelweger fiasco...I hope it's all just net chit-chat.

The whole thing just worries me. I haven't lost all hope in Jamiroquai, and I am confident that JK has the capacity to make great music again... I just hope things don't get messed up by outside people and influences.

That is not going to happen. And Jamiroquai will bring the best album.
