I spotted the album cover but didn't know what it was. Maybe Meike uploaded it or someone else who spotted it on iTunes. _________________

nice one Seb
i've just had the funniest thought about this album. I keep getting this picture of them trying to put this record together for 6 years now & having to hide it when Jay walks in.
Jay - "what's that lads?'
Matt, Rob & Paul - 'oooh nothin, it's nothin..' 'gulp!' _________________

Assuming that Jay don't use internet, and there is only digital download release... theory works "He won't find us here!" _________________ Smile ~ |

Is " Hold Back" a song about some crazy fans????? hihihi

As the whole thing reminds me Leroi/AZURE so much I would like to ask our 3 heroes if they ever heard anything that Stu have done in past 10 years and if so then if they liked it or not.. |

sorry but I don't think so - as I am in community of 6-8 choirs and their members going to see concerts of each other and always have no problem with being critical - only honest criticism could move you to another level and we all know it so WE DO IT with no problem and no insulting of each other in any ways
and as time goes by it become obvious that Jay has not been always honest in his statements to us - fans so I hope the other band members are not the same.. |

I agree that musicians need honest critic from other musicians to eventually improve. but I just doubt they would openly discuss it in a kind of interview you know what I mean? _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

Matt will be so nice to answer a few questions that popped up.
Here we go!
1) Who are the singers of the songs? Is there a list of credits - also of other instruments - available for each song? Infos about who wrote each song would be nice too!
2) Could you pass on lyrics for the songs?
3) Who made the cover mashup and what does it mean? We think we spotted childhood pics of you guys there, is that right?
Thanks for your time, Matt!

Hi Everyone.
In answer to the questions that Meike has sent to me here are the answers.
For the singers we asked favours from friends!
On To The World is a fantastic young singer called Shean Williams
My Destiny is Vanessa Haynes (who is a part of Incognito)
The Universe is Hazel Fernandez
On Hold Back is Sam Grimley
On Moshi Moshi is my wife Tanya Johnson!
On Peace At Last is an Indian singer called Sandhya Sanjana
The Rapper is Omniscient from Florida
The other tracks are mainly sung by me, I'm not a great singer at all but couldn't find anyone to sing them! So I used a lot of effects to try to make my voice passably cool! Rob sings on some of them too.
For the lyrics, I will let anyone who wants to work them out, keeps a little mystery!
The singers who featured generally helped to write the songs they sang, with the exception of Vanessa.
Rob mainly wrote The Universe, To the World, Failure to Communicate and Hold Back.
I mainly wrote Movie, My Destiny, Are We Free, Do you Care and Peace at Last
Paul helped write some of these songs as well and Sun Machine was by the 3 of us.
The players were the 3 of us plus a drummer called Josh Mckenzie.
We only play with drummers called McKenzie! Derek McKenzie features on My Destiny and Peace At Last.
A sax player called Sean Freeman (who plays for Level 42) plays a great solo on Movie along with a trumpet player who's name escapes me!!
As for the cover, I made that with my wife! It is very much a home made effort this album! Almost everything was done at home.
The Collage is just some random images along with pictures of us all as kids. As the music is a real mish mash a collage seemed to fit the bill nicely.
I hope this answers everything
Love
Matt
