Was Jay Kay on Talib Kweli's "Beautiful Struggle"? NOTE: I used to be on this board years ago and forgot my login info, so had to start a new one all these years later. I'm almost positive I posted this before but cannot find it through the search. ------------------- So one of my favorite hip hop songs is Talib Kweli's "Beautiful Struggle". The singer on the hook or Chorus or whatever sounds an awful lot like Jay Kay. I've asked everyone I can about it and everyone either says they don't know or that it definitely sounds like him. I sent messages to Kweli and even Questlove on twitter but they never responded. I know that Kweli was on Sony during this time (might still be) and so was Jamiroquai, so it COULD have happened. The liner notes do not mention who was on the song with him. part of the chorus "You'll try to change the world" i honestly thought it sound like jay but afterwards the vocal did not match up to his so i don't think it was him however, i could picture jay/jamiroquai collaborating with talib or the roots

yeah a bit of chorus has a jay kay feel to it
