Best song of the tour?
Hey guys! I was listening to a few RDLS tour concerts the other day and I thought about asking you which song was your favourite in this tour.
I must say the version of "Canned heat" is simply brilliant.
I'd like to read what you think _________________ Bren Puchot

Hey Floyd is very well performed, and I think it's not an easy song. The new version of Canned Heat is crazy, and I also like the first versions of TWM on this tour |

i don't know which one to pick so here are my favorites:
MV
CG
S&M
LL
CH
HF
SAFP
LF- there are like 2-3 versions live
scam
MG
FJLIS- edgy funk rock
TWM
WYGL
overall, i really dig the last few minutes from a couple of songs live because they turn into a jam session, rearranged and just simply eargasmic
i hope for more gigs this year and the band should do something special for the upcoming 20th anniversary |

Definitely Canned Heat, particularly towards the end of the tour where they extended it even more. I really wish someone had recorded the version in Sydney, I could've sworn it was pushing 17-18 minutes long... seriously unbelievable.
I really love the last minute or so in this version of Hurtin' too. |

If I had to choose I'll say..Canned Heat !
Especially with the Maceo Parker vibes in the ending !
Travelling Without Moving was fantastic too !
@ LiamCs: The hurtin' last minute at Ahoy is incredible ! Too Bad that it is not on the album version ! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

I'd say there's a tie between Canned Heat and Travelling Without Moving. What's fascinating to me is that they re-invent much of their classic songs, and most of the times they top the original version. That's quite an achievement.
I'd also like to mention Main Vein, which not only is the best version yet, but also worked very well as the second song from the setlists. |
