Jamiroquai to release RDLS for RSD 2012
Hi there!
Sorry for the subject line, which may be a little bit weird!
It seems that Jamiroquai will release a special edition of RDLS for the Record Store Day 2012, on April 21st:

Unfortunately, nothing really exciting as the tracklist is the same as the regular release... The only difference will be the cover:
"Artwork is exclusive to this version".
I don't know if it's on 12'', CD, or both...
I just hope it'll see the light of the day!

 Hello,
Well what you know, this is a pleasant surprise, so RDLS finally gets a U.S. release (I'm guessing unless they also celebrate Record Store Day in UK record stores?!?)....but still, no bonus tracks but at least new artwork. But still good they are finally getting around to releasing this here and they did pick a great day to release it, hopefully might stir up some music fans towards Jamiroquai affiliated sites. In any case, great news, gotta to pick this up on RSD,  cheers for the news Brother Diamond . Cheers!

UGH!!! Really?? What were they thinking with that artwork? And what the heck is "Executive Music Group"? An offshoot label of Universal Music or something? At the very least they should have used one of your glorious covers from the 'Smile single cover' contest Brother Dye! Anyway, let's hope the booklet art ends up at least being marginally better. BTW, since this release is being listed on Amazon.com, could this be a indication of a wider release? Hmmmm....

 Yep, it appears from the sales listings I have seen that this will indeed be a full release of RDLS in the States, with a street date of April 24th 2012, with of course the early Record Store Day release on the 21st . Here are a list of the sales listings I have found at the most notable stores:

 (artwork) aww freakin hell. Anyway I guess this is how the record label, (not the band I hope) feels about the States. We get a shitty album cover, did they mention anything about new tracks being on it?
And the BM looks like he's apart of the RockBand game

Argh, this cover is really a bit crappy. And this violet/pink "thing" in the background looks very weird.

so it is directed towards american fans or worldwide?
well it's no new album or track but its good to know something is brewing in jamiroworld 
the cover is not so bad, maybe too colorful and 80s' retro but i like the background since it goes with the title...they could of done another contest on cover artwork or used previous entries (maybe this one is a fan's artwork?) |
