London 2012 Olympic closing ceremony
Has anyone else heard that Jamiroquai are playing at the closing ceremony?

I follow Rob and Derrick on twitter but thought nothing of it when Rob said the other day about a Jamiroquai rehearsal, I just presumed it was for the upcoming performance in Japan |

I also haven't heard anything about Jamiroquai playing at the ceremony, but it would be cool if they did  . To me it looks like that the artists who play there are kept like a secret, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are some unexpected bands.

I've seen a lot of artist posted.
The Spice Girls are apparently the headliners! 
The Petshop boys, George Michael, The Muse, Fatboy Slim, One Direction.
The British Invasion.
So maybe Jamiroquai will play!

Was one of the 'better' closing olympic ceremony I have seen, alot of my 'musical youth' was displayed last night, Pet Shot Boys/George Michael absolutely killed last night! But the sad thing is here in the states, NBC editted a good amount of the other british music artists performances from their feed to compliment the elongated commercial breaks, I.E. Blur/Elbow, so just maybe Jamiroquai's bit was a victim of this. But once I get a chance later today to download the full, UK stream of the closing ceremony, I might be able to see if J actually did show up, from what I have read everywhere it might have actually happened but he was goin' solo with a prepared audio backtracking. Will report back when I know more! Cheers!
