Montreux Jazz 2012
http://www.montreuxjazz.com/newsletter/nl_2010_files/programme2012.pdf
Hi all -here is the Montreux Jazz line-up leaked out before time, but is now official. Despite me asking ,Jami are not in the program this year! Lets face it,we were spoilt in europe last year.Maybe USA is on file ! Hope so for the fans. Still, some good artists and the free off festival is always interesting. I should be working there again this year. Come and see me if you are around. Pippa

What do my blind eyes see?
Some very nice acts, like Ian Anderson playing my favourite Jethro Tull album "Thick as a brick"!!!
Or the Brazilian Jorge Ben, who's the composer of the tune "Mas que nada"!
Or Nile Rodgers with Mark Ronson!!!
Or Bobby McFerrin with Chick Corea!!!
...

This lineup could be a reason for me to stay the first time in my life in French speaking Switzerland! (I only crossed it once to get to Fiesch in German speaking Valais/Wallis.) But I have to ask my wallet first! Wink

I'll keep that in mind. Very Happy

But still, to get to Switzerland I have to pay for petrol, French toll and the Swiss vignette, except I would take the train. There's a direct train from Luxembourg to Basel, I wonder if there's a train from Basel to Lausanne.

And now, if I decide to come, should I come July 1st for the Jethro Tull concert or July 13th for the disco night?
