Jay always said that he likes to keep working with new material, so maybe a couple of tracks from the previous session could be included (like Two Completely Different Things from the Dynamite era, if I recall correctly), but I'm sure most of it will consist of new material.
Fingers crossed for a late 2013 release. |
Was Two Completely Different Things really from Dynamite????? |

I remember Matt talking about it, yes. Same goes for White Knuckle Ride, it was from sessions way back then, maybe even AFO. |

Any "news" in this? If they're yet to start working on the new album knowing how much time it takes them to get the final material out I wouldn't expect anything earlier than 2014. Just my 2 cents...
Another aspect - if I recall it well they signed with Mercury for 1 album. Seeing the commercial "success" of RDLS I wouldn't expect them to go for a contract extension so a label should also be found. |
In this subject, it must be of agreement. Mercury records, made a terrible promotion of the album worldwide, as for promotions of concerts around the world.
It's really sad, this happened, so I really hope, they find a good record label with power to give them the credit they deserve for a new album. _________________

Don't get your hopes up people. We had the same thing with RDLS.. It will probably not be released before 2015 |

I don´t think the next album will be released in 2015, but in 2014.

It could be great !
Maybe we'll have new recording of When You Gonna Learn in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary ! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

You mean 'Universal Music' don't fuck it up with tepid, ill conceived, misinformative promotions of the new jami album...surely Brother Bob? I wonder if Jamiroquai would go as far as making this new album a 'free download'..initially that is, like Radiohead did, make it an exclusive download for members of JamiroTalk, then later on release it legit...J can afford it. Cheers!
Sincerely,
