Meaning of new album
Hi,

A friend & I were discussing about the new album yesterday, and we expose our feelings about that and the desired music we're waiting for. For us, is certainly complicated to make any comment about because we considerate the public advertising is really poor, and Sony have given us no samples or pieces to know more than a name (Dynamite), which I never though should be a Jamiroquai album's name.

The thing is we aren't hoping this will be a nice release, and with my friend, a great Jam's fan, don't think to purchase this "new" (but late) album by the moment. It's sad. I'm personally a lover of Jam's music, but prefer to purchase the old items, with his magic vibe and beauty artwork. then I ask you...really are you waiting too expected for the new album?
I miss the expectation of past releases, miss the meaning of the old acid jazz and the beats make jamiroquai my favourite band. But, by the way, I guess Jay & the boys won't give us a bad surprise.

Just I need to discover the meaning of this new material, which for many jamirotalkers it involved a great passion and a long waiting. Anyway, I guess many people doesn't got any meaning more than a new release...that's bad!

What's your meanin'?

Have a didgin', Nicolas. Cool

Hey guys, I just want to say that I am an optimist, and I still have some faith in this album! All we've done for six months is gripe about the title, and whatnot. But Shakespeare says it best:

"What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;"

Forget about DYNAMITE! I mean, maybe it doesn't bug non-english speakers, but the name Love Foolosophy seems a little cheesy. I mean, the music has changed, but I don't like TWENTY ZERO ONE, and so many people do. So, we can't keep worrying about how it's not going to EOPE or ROTSC reincarnate. It's going to be different, as every album has been. But I've never really been very disappointed with Jamiroquai releases, and if it's taking this long to produce, I bet there's a good reason why. The business is all about quick production, and Jay has taken his time, released the album late, so that it can be as good as possible.

I still have faith. Let's all try to have a little faith.

Cheers.

Yes.

The title is nothing without the music, witout the album itself. If the album comes out and blows eveyone away, it's gonna MAKE the title. If ya know what I mean...

buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Hmmm...well, I have been in some IM discussions with fellow fans about the 6th album and they have also shared their optimism that it will be great. Cool But you really think about it, that is pretty much all we have left to hope for innit, a great 6th album that has a return of the much-needed Martin Shore headed brass section with at 10-11 new songs plus a bonus track with a solid lead 1st single Cool . Hehe, kind of a cramped run-on sentence there, sorry. In my view about this, if the 6th album is given the proper worldwide promotions by Sony, with a spanking new "catching up with other stellar online music websites" Official Site, with a WORLDWIDE 1st single released (with the expected different release dates per part of the world!), a prompt and extended touring schedule, & a companion innovative video for that first single....then...Very Happy Jamiroquai will be overly successful and the reciprocity that they owed to the fanbase for the long delays will be fulfilled Very Happy! Rolling Eyes I know, I'm being a little too 'personally picky', but hey, that is how I am, hate or like it Rolling Eyes . Wink I do wish all the luck in the world to JK & the boys on their new venture and hope there aren't anymore hangups of ANY kind Wink! Thanks for listening and Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
