That was a wicked show. Jamiroquai delivered it so beautifully, they were icing on the cake. Soul II Soul, Chic with Nile Rogers, and Beverly Knight were all amazing. This was my first time seeing Jamiroquai perform in person. I would do it again if they're performing again.  |

Phew, what a weekend!!! 
Here comes the setlist:

Might look for not-attendants as usual and unadventurous... but I really loved it! 
New arrangements, looong versions, and what I personally really appreciate: several solos of the band members!
Jay in a good mood, dancing and joking.
A funny moment was, when Jay came on stage and noticed all those indian headgears in the audience. (There were plenty of them, I am pretty sure you could buy them at the venue.)
So, Jay (dressed with a green hat) complained: "One time I come as a cowboy - you guys dress like indians!"

The whole day was perfect! What a great line up. Chic was a killer!! They really heated the audience up! Beverly was awesome as usual, I also liked Joss Stone! Soul 2 Soul were great, too! The only act that didn't really fit in, in my opinion was Ocean Colour Scene. They were not bad at all, but the style just didn't fit. But it was ok... I could use the time to go to the toilet before it got too crowded. 
Great day, met wonderful people. Although I thought I missed a few... Russ!! Where have you been? And Vivienne.. I think I didn't recognized you.. were you at the front somewhere?

I regret I haven´t use mine before.
As I said in fb, thank you so much!!!! Love to hear the details in Canned Heat new arrangements, TWM & RDLS...
For sure we will have a new album, and hopefully a new world tour! They have so so much to give yet! |
