Congratulations AP - it feels good doesnt it? Smile

Thank you all so much for your love and well wishes witht the event on Saturday. I am so happy it is over now and life can resume as normal...well, normal as it gets Cool

I wanted more people to come out, but we were still able to raise over 130 for each organization, so with that my heart smiles. My friends and family really helped out a lot. My mom and dad were so cute and served the food. I'm not that close to my mom...well, it's getting better - so it meant a lot to me to have her part of something like this.
I got nervous speaking in front of everyone and at the last minute rushing I couldn't find the High Times DVD to show the WYGL video, but Chena came through for me and brought her copy, so everyone watched that right after eating. I try to squeeze Jamiroquai in wherever I can..so you all know that you were with me in spirit also. I am going to blog it later this week on MY Space with pictures, so I will keep you posted. Thanks again dear friends...I appreciate the love Heart 2grouphug

WARNING - There will be some cursing in this post...

angry There is a lot in this lifetime that I've done wrong.
Decisions I may have made that hurt people.
Times that I've said some things I shouldn't have or whatever...
Those times are behind me and I have grown to do my best to respect people and put my family/friends and community work at the top of my priority list, so...

When someone or anyone comes along that disrespects any of those 3 things in my life, I have a freakin' problem. A huge freakin' problem.

A lot can be said negatively about me and I don't give a shit really, but those things..my family, friends and volunteering - can never, ever be taken from me. I make sure that I am a good friend and treat people with the upmost respect..so when I'm not treating the same by those friends and family, I get angry, pissed and hurt.

I'm not one for bullshit really...seriously. And I'm not one for disrespect.

Treat people as you want to be treated damn it...
I refuse to treat people rudely, so I expect the same back.
Sometimes people deserve to be cussed the fuck out and even then..I try to be nice about it.

But, really...some people in my life need to get their act together.
seriously.

ahhh, I feel better..hahaha!

Off to work. xo

I've quit my job today. Smile eight more weeks and then I'm out of here! YAY!

no idea what i'm going to do afterwards but i couldn't go on anmore. i did hand in my notice three weeks ago but management convinced me to stay and offered me a new contract with a huge payrise and all kind of other benefits. but over the last three days people made quite clear where my position in this company is and how they deal with creative people and design in general. so the only step for me seemed to get the heck out of here.

management is kinda freaking out and running around like a headless chicken and i'm sitting here, shaking, trying not to break into tears (out of frustration!!!)

so now i need to calm down and start organise my next steps...

... or get drunk tonight! 4pawprint

My bad...the message is a bit deceiving...HA!
I WISH I were going to London or travelling anywhere soon...last year at this time I was prepping for my London trip.
I was kidding with Bear and saying since he is getting drunk I'll come join him and I planned on calling him this weekend, so that is where that part came from.

Don't think I'll be crossing the Atlantic until September....unless the band does a gig before then..in that case I will have to sell everything I own to be there! LOL

Does anyone have any good tips on noisy neighbours? I have tried the softly softly nice approach, but it doesn't seem to work. Before I go in there with my Lioness attitude, I would appreciate it if anyone could help me using more wit than anger Wink The noise is mainly slamming doors and screaming. It's getting quite annoying.....

Trying to beat them at their own game won't work, as some people are very stupid and wouldn't even notice the hint!
