serbian singer was also a transvestite nationalist bitch if you ask me |
Hope you don't mind me saying this, but I think you got the completely false impression of Serifovic's usage of the notorious hand gesture... I doubt that the gesture was meant to be nationalist, but was just meant to say "I'm Serbian". I'm not defending her or anything, in fact, I hate nationalism, but sometimes, you gotta go lax on it all, and see that the gesture is no more a nationalist expression, but just an expression of pride.
In short - find me a statement from Serifovic herself in which she claimed she supports nationalism. I doubt you'd find anything like that.
Jameerica, things have moved on, and our two folks have been left separated in so many ways by war and the aftermath of it, for so long and so intensely, you just can't tell who's what, who's who, and what's what after some time has passed. The 2007 Balkan is not the early 90's Balkan. Things have changed, and I admit, it is hard for one to open his or her eyes after all the things we've lived through, but we've just got to - we have no other choice. The world won't wait, despite how much we want it to. We've got to kick our shameful history goodbye, and walk into the light. It's our only chance. |

i know knjaz and i agree with that but that "hand gesture" is something people use too too often in all the wrong places...every time i go to my hometown,a lot of people when they see the bosnian register plates on the cars use that "gesture".well i have one for them as well _________________

why place 19 for germany...
WHY???
a mix with jazz and swing is not the right place for that competition...
they want pop songs with no sense or ballads with a artificial heart
mister cicero has lyrics for that jay would die... (but not women rule the world^^)
i think you have to understand the lyrics to like the songs from roger
women rule the world is really not the best song he made
@lydster i dont made any votes^^ _________________ maxud braucht funk food denn dann bleibt maxud maxud

@ maxud: Which one then? So Geil Berlin? Sorry, but I just don't like this guy. He's a macho. He sings about "those little things between men and women and why they actually can't match at all and that men are the total opposite of women" and all those stupid stereotypes of men and women and I'm just so fed up with that topic. If someone starts with this, he immediately lost all his points in my "ranking". I mean, his album is called "Männersachen" ("Mens' affairs")! I think next time if we wanna swingjazzfunk up the Grand Prix, we should send Jan Delay. Don't you think? And by the way, I voted for Sweden. Really. I've seen the Swedish band already in a TV show before, and I think they're cool. They should have won! |

Yeah, I think so too, Sopho's a great singer, great voice, for georgian people she's like second Bjork, but I didn't like her song, and if you saw clip.... |

I don't want to piss anyone off, but I voted for the German guy.
I never heard of him before, and I didn't pay attention to the lyrics (even if I did, I would hardly understand anything since my German sucks badly).
I just thought that the jazz tune was much better than other crap (well, Hungary was not bad, too). I knew he wouldn't get many points, cause (as Maxud said) it's not the right type of music for this fucking Eurovision contest. |

The show isn't as interesting as it used to be.
Ohhhhhhhh, the times when you could hear things like:
Luxembourg twelve points, Luxembourg douze points!
