Jay's in a whole world of trouble
Hey, I was out on my paper round this morning, and I noticed that Jay Kay was on the front page of The Sun newspaper! (Scottish version only for some reason) You can read the article here:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2004352175,,00.html
Lets just say, Jay isn't going to be spending much time in the UK this month.... _________________

Haha, he's in trouble now.
So, I guess they'll delay release of album again due to Jay's inprisonment |

JK..LIVE..doing Community Service!!!!
Hello, :bm_b:
Gosh darn it ! What has been wrong with JK lately? What, is he simply misunderstood OR does he think he's "invisible" to obviously been seen in the UK? I wonder what the ramifications of this will, A bigger fine, jail time, or even the worse case scenario... COMMUNITY SERVICE ! AHHHHH!!! Hehe, I can imagine that....
JK drives up in his Ferrari Enzo to a eldery residence somewhere in suburban London. JK steps out of the car wearing street cloths and a unfashionable orange vest that bears the words "Community Service". JK walks up the steps of the residence with a unhappy look on his face. JK knocks on the door and it is answered by a grey haired lady who answers the door with, "Oi! Who are you?" JK gathers himself, smiles back and says, "Hello, I'm with Community Service, I'm here in put in your ceiling insulation." The lady raises her eyebrows, darts her eyes at the roll of insulation that JK is carrying with him, and replies with, "Cor, they came last week and put it in, nice bloke, name was Robbie Williams or something?" JK cringes and says in a calm voice, "Well, is there anything I can do for you, I'm yours for 3 hours today." The lady rubs her chin while thinking and says in a delighted voice, "Oi, our loo is clogged, you could help us with that!" JK cringes and says in a weak voice, "Ooooo...Kkk, where's the plunger and your loo?" The lady directs JK to the loo, as the door closes to the residence, JK's head is hanging real low in sadness.
Ha Ha Ha ! I have to admit, that was REALLY FUNNY! Well, I just hope they just give JK a "slap on the wrist" and give him a BIG FINE to pay and send him on his way. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

he needs some serious consequences for his actions, or else he'll do something even more arrogant and mindless.
"If it ain't no natural law then you can keep your regulations, 'cause if I like it, I just do it."
Oh right, stumbling around drunk while delaying a court date part of the whole natural law thing! |

Hello Jamirotalkers,
Getting in troubles to promote his album? Mmm... I guess it should be better to appear in the news but not with this stuff.
I mean, the lyrics of the new album could be strong so people can talk about it; ehh... the voicemail thing is another thing to promote them; the video could be censored or something (that is the best way to promote a single, in my opinion); etc.
So, I think the car accident, and all of that, are just coincidences but hey! if they help to promote Jay, the band and the album, its ok. But please Jay, stop drinking, come on!

I really agree with you Diego!!! Gettin' in trouble to promote the new album is not the best way... But what Jay can do? he is an alcohol addict and nobody can't stop him... That's the reality... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Flaunt the undesireable for BIG record sales!!
Hello,
Yeah Diego & CheeebaLover, I do share in your hatred of using the "serious problems" in a celebritie's life to inhibit more attention towards a new album release . But this new "promotions" style really is "touch & go", works some musical artist (Example: Scott Weiland of the group "Velvet Revolver" and his continueing litigation of his Cocaine problems), and doesn't work in any way for others (Example: Janet Jackson's titflap from the last Super Bowl, her sagging record sales were unaffected by this stunt, and I wasn't thinking of her breast there that she showed..hehe!). Hopefully music artists will smartin' up and give up on this pursuit and stick to the normal means of promotion (I.E. Updated online Official Sites, Webteams, E-Cards, Subway Posters..etc.). At least that's my collected wish for them, GROW UP AND KEEP YOUR LIFE PRIVATE ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

Yeah, I haven't heard Ms. Jackson on the radio recently...it looks like Damita Jo has tanked tremendously! I have the Velvet Revolver CD, and Scott took a lot of stuff from his real life problems as fodder for the disc. The new single, "Fall to Pieces" is about his wife leaving him, I think. I agree, this isn't the way albums should be promoted. I sure didn't buy the album based on that...I did it because Slash was on it. All hail the king of the badass riffs... _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does.
