Second JamilyPhotoCompetition - Discussion
for the next one, I suggest this theme: a photo with a little text about the place you live (city, town, neighbourghood, etc!).. in my opinion, the text has to be written by the person who takes the photo, and it doesn't have to be information about the place (nº of population, for example), instead I suggest to write what that place and that photo makes you feel..
of course any other ideas are welcome  |

The place could be anonymous - if you take a pic from you neighbourhood or your house - nobody will see if it is in Moskow or Cologne or somewhere else (maybe...)
I don't know - I just like the topic of home - like "my corner of the earth" or "planet home" |

"corner of the earth" or "planet home" I like them!
that can be whatever, a city, neighbourhood, landscapes...

oh sorry I dind't explain it properly... what I ment is that with a general title like "corner of the earth" anyone can choose what for him/her a corner of the earth is...not a city or a buiding...but whatever like picture of my life can mean a lot of things...so if one wanna post a builfing or a part of the city can and if for someone else means something else he can choose a pic with a different subject !

Pepela, i think that , as the others said, it wouldn't be so easy to recognize the property of the images.
Of course that if i post a pic of the main church of my town or something about my room or the beaches where i use to go, u'd be able to say: it's a FRA's pic!
BUT, for everybody here, there r so many "hidden" and personal places which also represent their corner of the earth and of the hearth.
So why not?
Let's try with this theme and we see how it works.

i agree - corner of the earth or planet home is a great title for the next competition. I have some places in my mind where I'd take pics you cannot tell where it is, especially when you don't take pics at famouse places, like Fra said - or if you make a pic of a certain detail, a close-up.. you can hide any hints where the place is.
And even IF you could imagine where is it, I dont think it's that bad - speaking for myself, I'd not vote for a person, I'd really vote for the pic I like the best and I am sure you all would.
I like the idea.

I think there's no need to have fresh pictures, if you have an image of you corner of the earth shot many years ago during a holiday (just an example) IMHO you can use it...

Sunday I'll leave to mountain to teach kids english and teather ( I'll have planty of fun!!) and I will not be arund 'till the 5th or the 20th of August.
if yes I'll send it to FD!
or as Maxud said we can wait a month ( sept.) so we'll all be around. more ppl mor pics !
