· Now that you are in a, let's say, creative freedom, are you exploring new musical territories? What are the ideas you have in mind for the new album?

after the last album, there's a chance we can get the unreleased stuff along with the next album? _________________ Only a fool can walk away from me this time

Also a very good question. Although I'm pretty sure there must be a Sony BMG copyrights deal or something.

Well, not really. You see, contracts usually state that an artist must turn the rights over to his music if he's gonna release it. Therefore, $ony might not own the unreleased recordings. But if they do... Well, we can always have the band re-record the tracks. The label only owns the recordings the band sold them specifically. In other words, you have the rights to what you recorded yourself. |

Which comes first, lyrics or the music?
How do you feel, now that indie rock an all these sh*t is coming from everywhere, isn't it getting harder and harder to make such an album that is welcomed by as wide range of the publicity as first 3 albums did? I mean the musical enviroment is not fortunate for you. |

Clever about the dollar sign Knjaz - that is how I usually write $ony also on here
Contracts vary with each artist, so there is no way to know about the revenue vs. copyright section of any contract really. I haven't seen a lot of contracts in my life, but the ones I have seen don't seperate the copyrights by released and unreleased tracks.
Just a suggestion on the questions...you guys might want to ask things that won't warrant a typical, standard answer that you already basically know the answer to. Be creative _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com |

Whatever. Re-recording always solves the problem. I agree with Zsoma, too. This "indie rock" stuff is going too far. Everything comes out of cans these days, even the most experimental and avant-garde stuff. |

Whatever? I don't get why you put that, but as you say...whatever
I also don't get what you are saying about coming out of the can and this isn't the topic to discuss whatever you are saying, so maybe you want to start a new one somewhere? Just a suggestion. _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com |

Kubrickian influences in AFO?
Dear Jay, AFO is one of my favourites albums and I think is possible he have a kubrickian influences from the movie "2001, A Space Oddysey"
Maybe, in my opinion:
- The title (A Funky Odyssey)
- The song TZO (2001)
- The floor whitl ligth at the Little L videoclip (like the room in the film)
- Danube Blue in the concerts (I can listen in Gijón)
- and you imitating HAL (computer) in some gig of the AFO tour...
Waht do you think about this???
(Meike, great idea and thanks for this section) _________________ Planet Home is blue and green |
