SNL making fun of Jamiroquai in "Douche Bag Awards"

if you want to skip directly to the Jamiroquai reference then move to 1min 40sec remaining in the clip. I thought the entire skit was pretty funny, and completely confirmed to my g/f that I am the only American in the world who thinks Jamiroquai is cool. Oh well I thought that others might get a little laugh out of this too. |

Tell your girlfriend that all but 3 of the Jamiroquai concerts from the 2005 USA tour was sold out including 2 nights in New York, 2 nights in San Francisco, Chicago, and Los Angeles - so you aren't the only person here that loves them

he didn't win anything on American idol , at least he won dbag award.

no, she was kidding. She doesn't hate them at all, in fact she really likes a few tracks, but she doesn't understand the love I have for them. |

ok well I dont think that they are "making fun of jamiroquai" if anything it just goes to show that Jay is the only one who can truly sing those songs!!
I definetly think they were making fun at Blake Lewis, they made him look just like him, and they used other references like Austin |

I still love Jamiroquai...and still drive my girlfriend NUTS listening to the 6 albums...but watching my 3 year old bobbing in his seat to "Canned Heat" is a sight to see.
However, during the USA Dynamite portion of the tour, I saw the group in A.C. at the House of Blues - and it was far from sold out at least where I was seated (in the more expensive seats on the upper level).
It was, however, a HELL of a good show... |
