I know this song is a bit cheesy but I really like it. It reminds me of the "good old times". First of all because it used to be aired quite often here on the radio stations. Second, it's still nowadays a big hit at karaoke. Third, if you watch the Eurovision video, you can see the traditional orchestra with the conductor presented before the song, things that aren't done anymore at the Eurovision Song Contest.
It's a pity Italy has only become 2nd that year, they had the best song. Anyway, the Eurovision Song Contest isn't good anymore, with Italy (and *cough*Luxembourg*cough*) having left the competition.
