| Do you think a Jamiroquai Musical should be made in a few years time utilizing JK's turbulent young life story and the music of Jamiroquai? |
| Yes, absolutely, if it worked for Queen, it can work for Jamiroquai! |

A Jamiroquai Musical: Good Or Bad Idea?
Hello,
I was chatting with Sister Heather (Little H) today on IM, and an old idea passed through our conversation that I don't think has ever been discussed . We have seen in the past Musical Artists and their music being turned into successful and meaningful musicals, The Who's "Tommy" & Queen's "We Will Rock You" to name a few incarnations. But I was thinking, do you think Jamiroquai, given a few more album releases, would make a good interest piece for a musical? I mean, JK's early life/formation of Jamiroquai/their discography are rife with good material to create a musical out of. Of course, the only reasoning I have for having this musical idea created in the distant future is that I think Jamiroquai's greatest material is yet to be written and recorded. But I think with the proper people behind it, namely chief screenwriters being JK/Toby Smith/Band Members, and a little prose polishing and additions by Ben Elton (Yeah, he is a brilliant british comedic writer, but he has shown to be very versatile as a musical writer with his involvement in Queen's recent musical!) /Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice. It would be a great undertaking, but I think Jamiroquai, in years time, would make a great musical possibility! So I leave it to you, please vote, good idea or bad idea? Cheers in advance for all your thoughts !
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Prince did it already, and it was bad enough. Then again, I'd be ready to sacrifice all my self-respect for a tiny little scene where the band tries to sneak onto a luxury ocean liner as stowaways just to fail miserably. |

That idea is worth a thought. imagine the possibility. if done right it could be the perfect way to showcase the music. |

i wouldn´t like to see a musical of jamiroquai but musicals don´t suck in general..it´s just another style of music...phantom of the oper is just a classic one with some amazing songs... _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |
