There have been 3 stories in the news that link Jamie Lidell's sound to Jamiroquai's sound...2 were in the Guardian and 1 was in the Observer.

now he really does sound like Stevie Wonder 
they get it all wrong they do
maybe a touch of James Morrison too on this new album 
although he was around before James

i dont´even know what makes me like it that much...the harmonies are rather simple at times ..another day is 4 chords..but its just FANTASTIC....i love it all..hahahhh

I've read in a Ukrainian magazine that Jamie Lidell sounded like Stevie Wonder, but better than Jay Kay. Pissed me off. 
IMO he's much more Terence Trent D'Arby, but if you can get over comparisons, it's great stuff. |

Your talk about that guy made me curious
and after checking some youtube videos I ran into town today to get the "JIM" album 
Ah definitely a good one, I love most of the songs and Jamies voice.   Had it running all day now.
