The organisers of Jamiroquai's 16 August concert in Ahaus (Germany) for the Tobit Software NightClubbing event (which I guess is the official name for the event that the band are playing at) have announced a competition for new bands to get the opportunity to perform at the festival on the same stage as Jamiroquai (and the other bands performing - which include The Brand New Heavies).
Information about the competition can be found at the Tobit.com website, and more information about the NightClubbing/Festival can be found at nightclubbing.de. |
let´s all send our energy!!!!
iWant NC!!

yes, yes.... I have told you long ago in the Nude thread. I entered them even before the competition was announced...lol.. because I had this idea long ago and was telling the PR manager from Tobit about Nude Continuum and how good they would fit to the event because of their connection to Derrick and Jamiroquai. A few days later this competition started and I entered them right on... just when the site went online. (20 June, that was)

I am also mentioned at the Nude Continuum website in the news item from 27 June...

Right, so a little someone told me Jamiroquai was going to play somewhere close to me, right across the border. I guess I could grab my bicycle and cycle there, ha!
Haven't been on this webpage for ages btw, but I guess some of you will still know me, especially those I met at the meeting at Meike's place last year!
Anyway, I was looking at the website, and they offer two links to order your tickets from. What's the deal with the huge price differences? On the “CTS” website you can buy tickets of either € 115,50 (ha!) or € 56,50, and then the tickets from “Tobit.NET” only cost € 38,50 (I'm way too late for the discount it seems).
Oh, and why do I only see those prices on the Tobit.NET page when I have the language set to English, and not when its set to Deutsch (will the price be different?). _________________ The name's Rob, just Rob |

Hey Rob, great that you'll join us!!
There are two distribution ways for the ticket sale, therefore the different prices. Actually the sale over Tobit.net is meant to be for Tobit clients and people from the area - that's what the PR manager from Tobit told me.
But we all ordered through Tobit even though we are living far away. All you need to do is to open an account at Tobit. Then you can order the ticket for a better price. You won't get a printed ticket like you normally get at CTS Eventim (online ticket service) but you will get a plastic card which is loaded with the information that you have paid for the concert. You can additionally load the card with extra money and you could even pay your drinks and food with that card at the event.
The order form does not include a field where you can fill in your country, so take care you add it somewhere.
When you take the time and read the whole thread, I have put a lot of information already during the last weeks which might help with registration.
Do not buy those VIP tickets (the expensive ones!!). This is nothing for fans. Only for people who wants to have catering and an extra parking place and some more extras but nothing interesting for us fans. You would have to stand in an extra area, but not better than the first row. And backstage is NOT included in those tickets either. So definitely not worth the money - at least for us.
Hope this helps!
See you in Ahaus!!
