Firstly - how PROUD I am that there is an Aussie flag there - thanks for representing us Aussies, we might be far away but thanks for representing us - very much appreciated!!!!!!

I can't tell you how fast my heart was beating this morning reading all your reviews and seeing the photos - I am truly SO happy for you all from the bottom of my heart - the band & Jay treated you so well, there are other bands/performers out there that treat their fans like crap - its so great to hear that our boys know how to treat their fans.

Finally, thanks so much for sharing all your reviews and photos - I'm lost for words really - I'm just so excited for you all - YAY!!!!!!!

SAMANTHA

Peggy, thank you for your nice words!
I have to thank you that you took my backstage to meet the band!
(Although I wasn't with the crowd that followed Jay to the Mercedes to listen to samples of some of his new songs, but I'll hear them when they come out on CD, so no worries! Only thing I regret is that I couldn't tell Jay that he's the composer of my favourite music.)

Just before the Jamiroquai concert, Russ and me went to a beer stand, so we couldn't rejoin the rest of the Jamily in the front row. It was impossible to get through the crowd. So we two remained at the beer stand, listened to the concert and had a few beers. (I think I was quite drunk at the end of the evening.) By the way, Russ you're a cool guy, thanks for the beers you offered me. Cool

And then the hotel room Peggy has ordered! It was a huge duplex... with a jacuzzi! And I slept very well in my bed, Lija I don't understand you!!! European pillows are just great!

Finally I want to say that I was delighted to meet this big part of the Jamily I didn't know yet in real life: Meike, Sandra, René, Russ, Peggy, Rinaldo, Janluka, Mojo, Lola, Jay_F, Nathalie... (sorry if I forgot one to mention)
And of course the part of the Jamily I already knew: Nicki, Suzie, Konni and Maxud.

Greetings
ophone aka Änder aka André

P.S.: I immediately transferred the greetings to Rosa from Peggy, Suzie and Nicki! Wink

Btw guys, did you see the eclipse of the moon ??? That was sooo special, it started around 22h I guess. Nature couldn't choose a better evening !

WOW! The stories of the night sound amazing and the pictures look like a total blast.

Suzie - I smiled the hardest when I heard you were on stage and saw the picture. Love it girl...that you worked it out for all of us! What wonderful memories. Wink

Great to also see Jay and the band treat you all so well..and actually acknowledge your dedication to Jamiroquai. Although it isn't needed, it is certaintly nice to have.

You all have some sweet memories indeed of the entire night Razz

Ok, here now my review:
I arrived at about 2:30 h at the entry and sure parts of the Jamily were waiting in first row. Very Happy Meeting Nicky and Suzie again was great and as always it was as if we see each other every day. For the first time I met Janluka and Russ and the two Italian girls Dani and Anna. It was nice to meet Rinaldo again and Max and his girlfriend were there and it was fun just to look out for other Jamilys to come. The sun was shining and it was really hot – sooo lucky with the weather sunny
I learned that Meike and Sandra were inside because they had backstage passes and I was a bit concerned because Meike had my ticket. I think I called Meike twice on her mobile to hear when she would come to give me my ticket – I hope I didn't get on your nerves too much Wink
Meike came and gave me my ticket and finally we could get in. First we had to load up our cards because it was the only way to buy something to eat or drink. Nicky, Suzie and me went first to get some cold beer and went slowly to the main stage.
" Oh we won't stay so long in the hot sun just to be in front row….."
Half an hour later we stood in front row "We won't go away from here – nothing else but front row!" Rolling Eyes It was so good to talk to so many Jamily members just having fun in the sun… sunny

I cannot list up all names – everyone is meant and these meetings are always so special – they can't be compared to anything else.
The first band started at about 5 p.m. and they were quite good – mostly Reggea music – appropriate to the sun and the chilling mood. The Jamilies were almost the only audience. Other people didn't dare to come nearer because we were so dominant Wink
Then this girl with the glitter dress and high heels appeared. She really looked great and we felt a bit underdressed Rolling Eyes . No wonder that all male persons standing near to her were stunned roll eyes 2flirt . When I think that she stood there for hours in these shoes… hats off she deserved it to get Jays special attention after the gig Wink
Then the Nudies got on stage. Wow what a performance!! Absolutely great. I love Princess Freesia!!! She's totally fascinating on stage burn
I didn't get to know the band before but they are all so nice and helpful – just unbelievable!
I think I have to shorten my review a bit – otherwise it will become a novel Wink
Next band Joy Denalane – great voice, beautiful woman, cool music
Brand new heavies – mind blowing. They know how to spread good vibes.
The audience was growing and the spaces got closer – not much place for dancing any more. Some tried to enter first row – we really had to be very careful – what the f***
one false move and you're pushed away…
I don't go into detail with the music of Jamiroquai – I just have to say that it was overwhelming. Can't describe it – when Jay asked the four girls to come on stage – Suzie was the first to go – wooooooo, then Dani, then another blond girl and sure the girl with high heels. They danced like crazy on stage and we were all screaming – so cool!!! And Jay and the band were in such a good mood – always talking and smiling and joking…. I don't know how long they played but for me the gig was too short the blues
After the gig Suzie and Nicky were heading backstage and I was looking for Inaki and his cousin (his name is really hard to keep in mind) because they wanted to go with me to Cologne to the station. Inaki got the setlist and we also went direction backstage because they had to get their bags. One nice member of the Nudies gave me his pass and so we could enter. Inside all members of Jamiroquai (except Sola and Jay) and the Nudies were standing around and chatting. It was so nice to talk to them or just listen to what they were talking about.
Then Jay came out of his room and said hello to us. It was obvious that he had a little drink or two Wink He was really nice and talkative and he thanked us all for our support. When he was looking for that CD player he was really excited to show us what they already planned for the new album. It must have been a sight for the gods how he ran outside and we all behind him like a rat tail outtahere
This poor guy with the Mercedes couldn't get out of the situation nervously - 20 people in his car. I will never forget this situation in my whole life!!!

Everything was so special and unique – cannot describe the feelings I have about it!!

The trip back with Inaki and his cousin was very nice – we were really tired but also sooo excited.

Ok, that was my little review – I hope I didn't bored you too much Rolling Eyes Here are some pics too:
